I also got this call with no message.

this number first called my home I did not answer. I do not answer unknown numbers. they then called my cell, and how they got that I have not Idea. they left a message stating they are looking for someone who does not even live her. and said they want to avoid going to court and want to settle out of court on some bad checks passed by that person. so to call in and make arrangements. I have been receiving calls like this for the same person who does not live here for some time now. I even called them back at one time and told them to stop calling that person does not live at this address. or number. they stopped for a while. but in the last few months, they are back asking basically the same thing. this is the first time they said something about checks though.

They called and didn't leave a message.  I called them back and they said that my number isn't in their system so it must have been a miss-dial but they're company name is 'National Processing' and they investigate check fraud.

I got a call from traditional this phone number: 1-855-215-7107 and they stated that I would be sued for check fraud.  They would call in a harrassing tone everyday wanting me to send pmts.  After a Google search of this company National Credit Processing,  and saw the complaints by other people, I knew this had to be a scam.  How do I report this? ?

I received a call from this number claiming to be calling about check fraud. Supposedly I have a written on a closed account. The woman spoke very quickly, had to listen to the message several times. She said there was an IDC case opened with the National Processing something or another. Gave a case number and said I needed to contact them about a deposition in my county before going to trial. All very confusing. I don't have any bad checks.

This time they called me saying someone had out me down as a primary reference number. They told me that if my friend didn't call in and send ten a payment that I was going to be required to go to court. After googling the number I called back and threatened them not to call

Received threatening calls from whoever this is.

ID themselves as National Credit Processing, Check Investigation Division.  Basically a debt scamming operation.  Other numbers on 800notes give them an address of 150 Wales Ave Tonawanda NY.   With an agent by the name of Robert Marchiano

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  DIME  until the debt is validated.

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now.

I received a call from my mother this morning stating that someone called from this number saying I had an unpayed loan at a company in which I do but they where saying it's a bad check and I was going to have to go to court and I have 72 hours to make a payment or I'll have to pay 3 times,that amount after my hearing.. I called them back and told them I'm not paying nothing they said they will notify my job of this court day I said go right ahead she got really mad and aggressive when I asked ok are u done...lol... I googled the number and now I see that this is a scam... Glad I had the attitude that I had..

Got a call from these people apparently they had a decent amount of info to try and trick us. Said he's calling from the national processing credit check investigation. He also called my mother asking for a relative. Wish these scammers would bother someone with money lol because I'm broke anyways. Idiots

I received a vm from this number last night... First they completely butched my name lol... Then they said one of my best friends (they said her name) was in trouble for writing a bad check and they need me to make a statement before they proceed with court process. They scared the s*** outta me! Dumb scammers

Received a call 9/15/15 11:39AM asking for somebody that isn't me. Similar to above stating prosecution for a bad check.  Fraud.
