Sounds like some scam or telemarketing B.S.

billing dept from st. joseph heritage medical

Git called for a billing for St  Joseph Heritage Heath Care.  Never been there seems scam call /scam heath care setup

Claimed to be a healthcare billing department.  I didn't call back, seems to be a scam.

This information was easily found.  It is the billing department for Hoag medical group.  Here is their website clearly listing their billing department among others.

Legitimate call from St. Jude Billing.

Was called this am...called back and it's the number for the billing dept for Hoag Hospt group...I have no dealings with them, so will ignore...

Yes. St. Jude Heritage Billing. I had a bill for my allergist that I didn't realize I hadn't paid because I moved. Legitimate.

They left msg to call back re a bill. Hoag Medical /St Joseph Health Care is LEGITIMATE and they handle billing for many hospitals, med groups and individual doctors in California and the west.

Received call this morning.  Trying to collect for some medical done in California.  We live in the east coast.  Never been to hospital in california.  Something up???   Scam

This is a scammer's number who send virus into your pc and try to get you to call number.

My husband kept getting voicemails stating "This is St. Joseph Heritage Health Care calling regarding your recent billing statement. Please return our call toll free at 855-221-8046."

Because I am too curious and the St Joseph website has the same number listed for Patient accounts, I called. Turns out that the patient they were trying to reach had my husband's number listed on their account. So St. Joseph does make these calls, but they may have incorrect contact information.

I also got the call and voicemail from "St Joseph Heritage health Care...".  I'm not familiar with them.  I called the number back, gave them the number they called, they checked the name associated with it and confirmed it wasn't mine.  One of their patients either had their number typo'd into the system or gave out an incorrect number.
