I've been getting constant calls from this number for the past week. I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and no voicemails are left.

I receive calls from this organization at least every other day, and sometimes 2-3 times a day.  They are calling for someone that I don't know.  They say they're with an attorney's office.  I called them back to tell them that the person they are calling for wasn't at this (my) number and to please stop calling. I could hear several people in the background. It sounded the same as when telemarketers call. Their accents sound like they are from India. After a lengthy discussion (due to our not understanding each other), they said I would not get another call from them.  Two days later I came home and there was another message from them on my answering machine.  

Not sure what's going on.

Disregard my previous message.  It was not accurate.  Got called again.  This time they left a message.  It was from Freedom Mortgage.

I believe this is a mortgage broker. Here's an FYI: I made a huge mistake hoping to get a better mortgage rate than what I currently have. DON'T DO IT unless you're prepared to get non-stop sales calls. Most are "robo-calls" with no one on the line immediately upon taking the call. There's usually a lag in connection time to a real person. I'm going to smash my telephone next.

Looked for a cheaper mortgage rate online.  Didn't leave my Social Security #, because of the scams.  Started getting calls from this # 30 minutes after searching for the mortgage rates, so I figure from the blog that it's a mortgage broker.  I don't answer calls from #'s I don't recognize, and I don't answer calls that don't leave a voice message, hence...

Went online to look up mortgage refi rates.  Partly filled out some information, including my phone numbers, but I backed out and did not complete the process.  They managed to retain the info that I put in even though I didn't finish all the questions.
Minutes later, I started receiving phone calls from this number at my home and mobile phone numbers.
I believe it to be from a mortgage company.

My husband filled out an online form regarding mortgage refinancing.  Within an 1/2 hour we were getting phone calls every 15-30 minutes. They left message once, we talked to them twice and they called twice without leaving messages.  We asked them not to call back the last time they called.  We'll see.

yes i too got this call but guess what they are doing, they are purchasing local extension numbers such as a 510. xxx.xxxx  so it looks local.I demanded her supervisor who was also just as ignorant as the first person. so they are sneaking calls to people who are not expecting a telemarketer and calling themselves som Freedon Mortgage, such BS
Here is a few tips
Answer and talk in a different language and tell them you dont speak or understand ... see how they fall apart on the phone their scripts gets all screwed up on them., its actually amusing.. and so that is how i deal with these telemarketers..at to,es.  and when they try to communicate just laugh because  honestly these people are scam artists and need to find a real job!
or if you have any frustration inside you can just take it out on this 800 caller, you will feel amazing i mean exilerating as some times we need an outlet before we go home to the wife. so use this as an therapuetic call and release and smile.. it is amazing how fantastic i felt when i got off the 800 caller and most likely they will not call you again as they will not want to talk to you again ! You just have to take control of the situation especially when you ask nicely to not call you again and they tell you that you are on their dialer and they keep talking,  I mean how disrepectful can this be and so i say give it right back and then some.. teach that caller a lesson to listen!

I'm short of vocableries how the telephone call is bothering me. The call comes every now and then the whole day. I'm a sick person need to get rest. Please bring this scamers to the attention of the concerned authority to take legal action. What thery are doing is absultuly wrong and by law they deserve a serious punishment. That is the only way make them to stop calling and harass inocent people.

Multiple calls per day from this number, haven't answered any. The word "Ignore" comes up on the caller ID. They are all getting very creative to get your attention!!! Also been getting calls from another number that has "Dir Assist" show up on the caller ID, making you think someone is trying to get ahold of you through directory assistance.

If you dial back the number it is Freedom Mortgage Brokers, tried of this nonsense so I am blocking the number.

Blocking Phone Numbers is a pretty common feature today, check with your phone carrier if you are curious.
The downside is if 'Goofball Company' changes their Automated Calling Number you have to Block the new number.  This does happen but generally gives you peace for a few months.

Caller ID showed 602-384-2692.  WAs a recording rapid stating Freedom Mortgage & the phone number 855-233-4909.  If we want to be put on their do no call list, press one.

Reporting them, for all the good it does.  They spoofed the caller ID, they called a number on DNC list & it was a robodialer with a recording at the other end.  How many laws can they break in 60 seconds?

I keep rec calls from this number and dont know who it is. No msgs left. Disrupted a meeting I was in time and time again. I need my phone on for emergencies but finally had to cut it off.
