This number called me and another person and stated my friend and I had a legal complaint launched against us. Very threatening and very very unprofessional. These people want to try to scare you into thinking you have done something wrong. If you are sued you get served a summons to court not a harassing phone call. True story I've been sued a few times lol. The point is tell them to take a freaken hike.

I got a threatening and very illegal (in terms of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act) phone call from them.

I did not answer the phone, it went to voice mail and in their message, they never say my name, but just make a lot of lawsuit threats.

I am sure it is a scam, and I have no intention of calling them back.

If anyone knows their mailing address, or their website, or fax number, list it here.  My guess is that they have no business address or website, etc., and it is a shell meant to get scared people to hand over their credit card or debit card number, and within a few months this shell company will shut down so the government won't have enough time to get involved and take their assets.

They are pretending to be a debt collector law firm, but I do not think they are legit.

I would love to sue them, but I probably wouldn't be able to get their assets, because they won't exist long enough.

I called them back and I asked for their name and address and this is what they said:

The woman says her name is Cynthia Novak, but that is most likely fake.

If they are a legit debt collector, they are violating the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in so many ways.  I will be filing a complaint against them with the Arizona Attorney General's office in my state of Arizona, and also I will be contacting the federal consumer protection bureau about them.

I am going to be tape recording all of their calls and I will use them as evidence against them if they violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Seems like their other phone number might be 716 312 4639 and this one calls herself Prescott.

So many scams out there.

This is the 3rd time a woman named Cynthia Novak called my work cell phone and left a message saying that there was an affidavit of complaint filed against me (she never says my name) and either I or my legal counsel needed to call the number back immediately and that it was a final legal notice in my county jurisdiction (she says which one).  My work phone is registered under a large worldwide hotel company and doesn't have my name associated with it.  This is a complete scam.  Don't give these people ANY information about yourself!

Today a woman named Cynthia Novak called my dad's house and left a voicemail for me, asking for me by my first married name. In her message she left on his voicemail she stated that she had an affidavit of complaint in her office that is ready for processing in my local court jurisdiction. And that it is imperative that I or my legal counsel contact her firm today at 855-233-5056, and that this message is a final legal notification in compliance with State and Federal law. My dad called them back and a man answered asking for my current information. My dad told them he would get ahold of me, but wouldn't give out my info. He couldn't find anything on the phone number, no company name or anything. I put the number in Bing and it shows this is a scam.

I received a call today from Cynthia Novack with the number 855-233-5056, saying I am being sued. Totally a scam. My daughter is an attorney and never, never would they call to say you are being sued. You would be served with papers by an officer. My daughter however did call back and repeat the same speal to Ms. Novack, and Ms. Novack promptly hung up. When my daughter called back no one would answer.

855-762-4642 is the number they called from today. They started all official at first and I tried to explain I did not owe then they called me a low life [***] [***] [***] and hung up.

Today I received a call from the same place however from a guy name Jeffery Ross. the other number that showed up was 855-762-4642. when they had the info on me I tried to explained that it was paid and there was no way I owed the credit card company. Because I questioned them and I knew for sure and did not back down they addressed me with this.
the guy told me I was a low down [***] that is low life [***] and [***] to top it off. I called back again to get info and he interrupts the call and curses me again. When he said he would see me in court I told him I cant wait to go to the judge.
He also said he was a paralegal for the attorneys office.

Called the office and got the typical filibuster from the virtual teenager named Jeffery Ross. who answered and shrugged everything off.

Talk about a low-life, this guy is the thuggish scumbag.
