This number is being widely posted on the Internet as a help/support number for various services (Google, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)
Clearly this is an effort to steal credentials for these various services. If you have fallen for this scam change your account credentials immediately. If you are unable to login to your account, then they have changed the scammers may have changed the password and you will have to contact the real support for your account, or go through the account recovery process if the service has one.
Sadly, while it is possible to find out who holds the VOIP account which holds this number, it is almost certainly set up using a stolen credit card and a false identity. The persons behind this may be located anywhere in the world.
This is (unfortunately) a fairly clever scam, and likely to catch a lot of people. ALWAYS dig up contact info yourself, and do not depend on anything other than the provider's site for such information. - D CordovaThis number was listed as a YAHOO customer support number. They tried to sell me a service to unlock my yahoo account - they did this thru the Log Me In Remote Access.
- Lorraine Magnant| 1 replyI called this number for help, and he said it would cost 300.00 dollars to fix, this is suppose to be Yahoo customer service, they are not for real....

- Anna| 1 reply19 March 2015 - several calls
This is a complete scam! After I asked them ONE question....some guy said to me: "You [***]! You have severely pissed me off!" Then he said he was going to "f**k my [***] and p***y!" This was completely uncalled for! All I did was ask if they were support for gmail! What an absolute creep! I hope NOBODY falls for this scam!- Caller: Gmail Support
- Brandon replies to AnnaI called them and gave them a very hard time
- SCAMDo not call this number if you need help!!! They try to charge you to change your password! F---Ing Indian f--ks. They have nothing to do w/ Google support
- Lea BThis company is nothing but a joke. I called bc it said it was "Google Customer Service". False representation 1st of all. When all i needed was for them to change my password bc my ex husband screwed everything up, the "tech" wanted me get into www.teamviewer.com. DON'T ever ever do anything like that! You are giving them access to get into your computer and then you are royally screwed. I called him out on that right away knowing what teamviewer is bc of my job. Then when i told them there is no way i would give them access to the computer, they proceeded to tell me it is going to cost me money to change my freakin password! Some other guy takes the phone and said word for word: " Are you going to pay or not"?I said there is no way in hell i am paying for anything and he told ME to f--- off and hung up on ME!! I called the number back fuming with anger and hoping i would get someone else. The [***] answered the phone knowing it was me (assume bc of caller id) and said i either let him into my computer or my gmail account along with my computer was going to get hacked. I told them I was calling the police, the BBB and anyone else I can get in touch with to let someone know who can actually do something about it. The is nothing but a joke and please, please don't trust them. They lie and tell you in the beginning of the conversation that someone is trying to hack your system as we speak, "good thing you called us right away". This had NOTHING to do with why I was calling what I thought was GOOGLE customer service.

- ErinI called because I couldn't access my hotmail account. They asked me for my credit card number, address, first and last name, and other personal information. And that was all in order to "unlock" my account. Do not call this number because they are a scam.
- Mike replies to Rubenon 12-11-2015 they tried to rip me off for over $400 and when I started looking for them on BBB.ORG and the FLORIDA ATTY GENERALS OFFICE website they got very upset and left the call. Interesting. The original number I found after a BING search was on another website http://www.gmailcustomersupport.com/ and the first time I called 855 233 7309 they said they were ORCHIDGROUPS.COM. Interesting.
They claimed they were in Las Vegas but all had heavy Indian or Pakistan accents (no offense intended) and one guy in "billing" name of LEO couldn't come up with the local area code for Las Vegas! Hmmm.

This group which is based in India will ask for email passwords, credit card information and sensitive information in an effort to commit fraud and other illegal activities. You should never call these individuals nor should you ever provide your passwords to anyone. They use phishing tactics by impersonating legitimate companies. The FBI has also been notified. Believe it or not, they even try to pose as the FBI themselves.
Be careful. - RickSCAM!!!! In a panic over my gmail account being hacked I did a search for "gmail phone support". This number came up in the Google Answer Box. I didn't pay attention, assuming Google would not allow a fake number to come up for their product, and called. The guy tried to be very helpful, saying I needed to clean my network, PC and e-mail. He said that anti-virus software won't work. When I asked how to clean these things, he said he would help me. He guided me to teamviewer.com. I stopped it there. I was not going to give him access to my PC and he was actually understanding and cordial. When I hung up and did a little research, it confirmed that this guy was a scammer.
