- AnnoymousSo are we....just a few hrs. ago! Whats going on w/asking for SSN & ACCT#'s?
- Caller: 1 (855) 233-7310
- Nadia ToMachine Said he is calling from AES there s apparently fraud with my ss# and phone #. Said press 1 for info. I pressed 1 and it went to voicemail. Real company would not go to voicemail and would state full company name..
- Caller: AES
- whateverJust got a call from them as well on my cell phone- said there is fraudulent activity with my ss# and a checking account. Neither of my banks where my checking accounts are know anything about it. Plus... my cell phone is unlisted. How would they even get my cell# if it was real?!
- Caller: EAS ?
- AngelaI got a call from this number saying there was a problem with my checking account that's linked to my social. Like others, my bank knows nothing of this.
- Caller: EAS
- JeannieJust got the same call from AES saying there was a problem linked to my SSN and checking acct. Sounds like a scam to me! It was a automated call.
- Caller: AES
- That one guyI got the same call from EAS, but since my cellphone service sucks it went straight to voicemail. It just stated I have fraudulent charges linked to my SSN # from a checking account. For any one that receives this call, make sure to check with your banks to see if anything is out of order. These calls are automated by a random number generator and are typically sent to multiple people at the same time. Just a fyi.
- Caller: EAS
- BS Detector Went OffI received a couple calls exactly like everyone else. The BS is that this is a brand new cell number, I haven't given it out to anyone. My bank or cr cards no nothing of this number. IS A TOTAL SCAM.
- Caller: EAS
- Christy Minard| 5 repliesI received a voicemail that came through as Unlisted, from a guy named Joe Coviello from National Express Couriers, looking for Christy Minard. He claimed he had a subpoena to serve to Christy, but she could call her firm at 855-233-7310 with case number JPSW10007 to send a stop order request.

And people why post things if it has nothing to do with you, world wake up anybody can post anything on internet does'nt mean its true. wake up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can take anybody number and post bad things or good things its all about who's a believe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
read bottom of this page truthful information- Caller: nit
- scaredmesh#tless! replies to Christy Minard| 1 replyI just got this too about three hours ago!!! They actually said there was a guy waiting to come take me in cuffs!!! If I didn't pay the $890!!! I was actually going to pay it but told them I needed a day to transfer funds. It got iffy when he said he could do it for me!!!!! Wow!
- Cam replies to Christy Minard| 1 replySame guy called me several days ago with the same message. Then he called back yesterday saying that since the company hadn't heard from me he would be out to my house today and threatened me that if I wasn't there he would enter a guilty plea with the court because of "failure to locate". Total scam! My county has never heard of them, there is no guilty in a civil case (if there were even a civil case) and a legitimate process server who can't locate someone simple doesn't get paid. When he leaves a message he won't even mention the name of the company he is supposedly working for, just their phone number.
Don't fall for this scam!! - Elspeth replies to scaredmesh#tless!https://800notes.com/forum/ta-86217073a9c8dad/ ... 077595690349410

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=se ... s=call+blockers - Cam replies to tony clintonInteresting this guy is the only person who seems to have positive dealing with these scam artists. Seems he assumes that everyone else should just pay them. Sounds to me like he is part of the scam!
- Elspeth replies to tony clintonEducating people about scammers and junk debt buyers must be cutting into your scam, huh? People should pay their bills - to those who do not violate federal law by threatening them like these yahoos do. I don't get many of these calls since my bills are paid before they're due, every month - however, that does not stop me from posting to help people know where to find information on their rights and what is and isn't lawful practice for debt collectors. Yes, "anybody can post anything on internet does'nt mean its true." Exactly! Just like you, for example!

- very annoyed| 1 replythanks so much for the helpful people posting because my ex in-inlaws received threatening calls from this number and from 1-855-904-9727, Vanguard Processing or DES, which seem to be linked, since they both use the same scare tactics with no proof of a actual debt and have used 3 different company names when we have received or tried to call them. They even claimed that they were the police on some messages and would have them, my ex- family, arrested if I didn't pay up, they would have to pay the debt. I have been divorced for 13 years and even i don't have their phone numbers or information. I also noticed "tonya clinton" replied on the other number when I looked it up, seems kinda funny, "tony clinton". And also that you have seemed to be the only one that says they are polite and people should pay them.At first when I returned their call, they claimed they werenThey were so rude to me that they actually had me crying because I had no idea what they were talking about I didn't owe any debts. They acted like I was lying and said they were going to take out a warrant on me. Sooo glad I found this info here and got a lawyer. Hopefully they won't fool anyone else and have anyone else as terrified as they did me.

- Duh replies to tony clintonUm, keep your Ps and Qs to yourself, no one wants to hear your input when you didn't actually deal with them. If you bother to read any one of the other comments it is obvious that this is a fraudulent scam so don't go telling people to pay their bills and not get mad when someone tries to defraud them. They are quoting illegal practices over the phone, harassing, and worst of all, scamming the low income people that really need the money to survive. If someone calls and says you are going to jail for fraud (which is not legally possible for a civil case) you just jump right up and give them all your personal information and let them drain your accounts? Get a clue. Just because someone claims to be a debt collector does not mean that their company or the debt actually exists. Fraud of this nature is rapidly on the rise here and my guess is that it is thanks majorly in part to morons like you. Thanks for the input, but get a clue before you try to go scolding people for not forking over their personal information to a fraudulent company.
On the other hand, you could just be a troll behind a computer sitting next to the guy who just called me from this number trying to make this company seem legit. If that is the case, please find the nearest roof, take your buddy sitting next to you, and go jump off. You scum that line your pockets with money scammed from those who can least afford it completely disgust me. You don't even deserve to rot in prison for your illegal practices, why should we spend more hard-earned money on you. The world would be much better off without people like you that have no concept of compassion for fellow human beings and I wish you all the worst in the future. - Tell them off replies to very annoyed#1, no legit company is allowed to discuss your debt with any family members or friends other than you. They can contact these people for the purpose of determining your location and contact information only and if anything about debt is mentioned, you have the right to take them to court. If family and friends are being harrassed, you should not ignore it, contact your state AG and any local authorities. They are ruining your reputation with false information which is slander.
#2, these people know what they are doing is illegal and they know the laws that they are breaking. Do not give them one bit of information until you get their full name, supervisors name, company name, address, and direct phone number. If it is a scam they will flat out refuse or give you some obviously phony info it is easy to tell. Any reputable company must give you this information and if they deny, you should be darn sure it is not a company operating legally. If you keep pushing the topic they will get defensive or even hang up. This is what you want. If they ask why, tell them because you are reporting them to the BBB, USAG, state AG, local authorities, and any other possible group you can find that protects people in your area. Trust me the last thing they want is to get caught and once you start pushing these topics making it clear that no matter how many lies they tell you know they are illegal, they will stop calling. If you threaten their livelihood, they will back down.
Lastly, no legally operating company is allowed to make threats to you, regardless of over the phone or not. Do not accept this from anyone and push back before hanging up. If you just hang up and ignore the calls they will not stop. You must assert yourself to stop these scum from harrassing you.
