The text message asked me to call the number regarding an office manager job I applied for.  I don't know what this is about nor do I care.

I got the same thing. I didn't call it

I received a text for an administrative assistant job and to call them.  They had my name and number.  I have been sending out resume's so I did text back and I have not heard back from them. Who has this number?

i also receives a text asking to call for a baggage handler position. I did apply for a poistion online. Should I call or not??

I don't know of any "company" or even a "placement service" that would send a text message to anyone before they hire someone. Talk about unprofessional!!

If your cell phone number is on your resume and you posted it online chances are that's where they got your number. I wouldn't text or call them back at all. sounds like a phishing scam just to use your number or sell your information to others and sooner or later you're going to get hundreds of texts from people you don't even know.

They Txt me ask some questions for a position that I did applied online, but it sounds so suspicius, all that questioning? I stop him and requestioned more info about their company he just Hang on me.

I received a message from this number, it said it was from gigats- a job search website, I am not going to return the call because of what I have read here.

Any call or text from 855-233-8081 is NOT LEGITIMATE. Do not answer the text except to text STOP. Do not answer any calls. Do not call this number if they text you asking you to call.  Further, when you text STOP to the number, you will receive another text that says "text STOP". Do not re-text STOP. It is a phishing scam and you will get more texts and/or calls.
Any legitimate business will call you for a phone interview - everything and anything else is a SCAM. Don't go there.

I received a called also, and he had my name and phone number, I am concern...  because when I ask him where he calling from? his english got bed, and "he said from the Leasing position that I applied for" them I star to listen to him, But in the same time he want me to go back to school in 3 to 6 months , I ask him... you called me to offer me a job? or to sale me some education? he answer both.  I told him I have a BA, 3 credencials and for a $13hr job, I have more that enought education and I hang up.

I received a text at 7:30 am about a retail manager position i had applied for. I have applied to so very many locations but, this company did not include the business name. I have never heard of any employer to send a text rather then call you for an interview....I did not respond except to stop, which was a mistake because I am receiving even more texts. The text was from Gigats...watch out for this scam..!!!

Received a text for a job opening. Not sure who may have sent but it looks like I'm not alone.

I received a text from this number regarding an Administrative Support position I supposedly applied to.  I texted them back as they requested as to who they were; What company they were with and what state they were in.  I have not heard back from them.

got the msg to call the 855 number so I chked out on bing found everything to be like I thought a
scam of sorts.. did not call

got a call from some dude named will s. gigats.com

I received a text earlier this morning from this number. They stated it was in regard to the receptionist position I had applied for. I have never received a text regarding a job before and suspected it was a scam... I didn't text back or call them.
