Got a call from a restricted #... they were calling about a friend / x roommate of mine about being sac superior court & a formal complaint being filed & to verify her address. Of course I didn't answer but according to her they have been harassing her for months & it's some type of scam & she filed a complaint already.

Got a message from them, sounded almost robotic.  They said they were Mr. Graham, and stated that a "formal complaint" had been filed through Fresno County Superior Court this morning against someone named Virginia and left the last name as well, which I won't list so it doesn't cause this person any problems. They left a reference number as well.  They then stated the person's full name again and said they have now been officially served.  Never heard of being "officially served" through a message left on a cell phone!  I tried to call the number back and it said I had reached "Coastal".

Threatened to take me to federal court for money owed for a debt in 2008. Funny thing is, my credit report is squeaky clean :) scam. Wanted money over the phone (now) or else i would have to pay $1500 in court cost. I told them send me a bill and id investigate its validity. Then they asked for my address. Since I've lived in the same place for a decade it
Should be on file since they we taking me to court. Hmm then said they couldn't send me a bill (it was too late for that) hung up on me when I asked for company info or website. Search  Coastal collection scam. Don't give the people money or any info!!!!!!!  
These people keep changing their number every few months. I filed a complaint with the FTC and FBI IC3 department.
