This number shows American Lung.  The call constantly.  Leave no message.

Just got a call from this number, didn't answer and they didn't leave a message, but right as the phone started ringing my cable box decided to reboot itself. Coincidence?

Caller asked to speak with my son (who is 8).  I said he wasn't here and asked to take message.  Caller replied "no message, we'll try again later".  I said he's my son, please tell me what you are calling about.  Caller replied "ok, we'll update our records" and hung up.  Wouldn't identify himself or his organization.

This number called a business - no one there when answered.

Caller ID came up as American Lung  (they called a business)  Caller asked for Douglas, I stated no one by that name works here. He said thank you we will call back and hung up.

Just got a call from this number.  the caller ID said "unavailable" so I didn't pick up.  They didn't leave a message.

Caller didn’t leave a message on my machine and the caller id said “TOLL FREE CALL” which probably means scammer/telemarketer since every legitimate business I know leaves a message. So I ran 3 reverse traces using 3 types of traces and all were completely blocked. No person or business name, no general location(City, County, State, Country etc.) and no service providers showed up. A legitimate business would never hide their identity and location by blocking a trace. This is the worse kind of scammer that is probably operating from a foreign country that is either spoofing dead phone numbers and/or using a Voip system while phishing for personal information and running a scam(s) (i.e. American Lung or American Lung Association, Charity etc.). This is an extremely high tech scammer so beware.  DO NOT ANSWER AND DO NOT CALL BACK FOR ANY REASON. Block and report to the proper authorities.

Unavailable calls about everyday I am tired of having my phone ring from numbers I don't know if it say unavailable I too am unavailable.

Call too many time during the day.  Don't put anything on the answer machine.   Wish it will stop calling.   It call early in the morning also.

Call from UNITED STATES. multiple times. I did not answer.  No message on voice mail

Rings a  l-o-n-g time but leaves no message.   I believe when it shows a title for who is calling that it's a fake name..  The American Lung Assn. tells me who they are. I will block this number.

This number calls SEVERAL TIMES a day, EVERY DAY!   Am sick of it.
How do I block calls?

Called this morning and no message left.

American Lung Association calls me regularly, sometimes several times a day, each time with a different number, never leaving a message.  I haven't seen this particular number recently.  I've blocked all 8xx numbers, which has been quite effective against them and also the March of Dimes, which uses similar tactics.  I'm not sure that either is the actual charity and not some crook using their name to get credit card information via a donation request.

I didn't answer the call.  I just let the phone ring until the answering machine picked up.  However, the caller hung up before the machine could answer and identify the caller.  The caller ID said "INSTITUETECHNOL".  They can't even spell "Institute" correctly.  Definitely a scammer.  Any real institute would be able to spell.
