They call every single day. It's from Mediacom.

It's Mediacom. Really annoying calls from this number. I recommend you block them. here's one experience:

They called me and tried making me "upgrade" my plan (I actually have Mediacom internet), but I know better than to go into a contract with them. I told lady on the line I was busy, and she asked if she could call later. I told her I'm not interested in what she's offering, but she kept on talking. I told her once more that I was busy, and then she told me to have a nice day. An overall waste of a minute of my life and moderately annoying.

Just got a call from this number.. The guy had an interesting accent so I let him talk for like 5 minutes without saying a word - Said he was from Mediacom and wanted to up my package.. Interesting when looking up this phone number you don't get a Mediacom hit on google though..

Probably wouldn't recommend answering this.

Mediacom calling to try to get you to upgrade your package. I solely have internet (the one with the most gigs) and he was trying to get me to get a cable package that would take my ultra internet away. :p I told him I was uninterested and he asked if he could call again later. I said no. They still call every day. SOOOO annoyed.

They left a message on my answering machine and wanted my husband to call them back so they could "help" him with Medicare when he enrolls this summer.  I think they were hawking some kind of insurance.  They were hard to understand.

I really doubt this is the actual Mediacom. Just another scam trying to get some personal information from you. DO NOT ANSWER NUMBERS YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE. If important, they will leave a msg. on your voicemail. Keep blocking these scam numbers.

Sales Call. They called 3 times in 24 hrs. I blocked their number.

Sudden pop up on my computer, "Your computer has been blocked.  Error # 36590e2185bbf3.  Please call us immediately at 855-261-3841" saying it was from Microsoft.  Only way I could get rid of the message was to close window.  Same thing happened the other day and I had to restart computer to get rid of message.

Mediacom calls and no one is on the line. Very annoying

They call daily and never leave a message. If I wanted to upgrade, I would call them!

The call everyday and multiple times. Three times in a row within a 5 minute period while I'm at work just today alone. They never leave a message. I never answer numbers I don't know..mostly because I've had scammers in the past. I've never even heard of this Mediacom company before. I already have an awesome and recently upgraded deal from my internet company and just want to be left alone...i think I'll tell them that(in not so nice words) when they call tomorrow...im sure they will

That windows message has nothing to do with this phone number and has a different number, it's a phishing scam.  Why are you even posting here.  This number is a contractor for Mediacom telemarketing and does their job BADLY.  They call for any account activity and try to sell you more crap and usually have all the details of your existing services wrong.

I answered to see what they would say, as I have Mediacom. I have not stopped receiving fake calls and I'm utterly appalled that they think I will believe it's actually Mediacom. These people tried to get me to talk and give out my personal information, but after I started getting scam calls and abusive treatment from major companies last year I have double and triple checked every number beforehand!!! Pure scam!!!! Beware!!!

FISHY, POSSIBLY EVEN "PHISHY"

Called, said was MEDIACOM,said they have my account open, knew my name, stated wrong info about my internet plan as I did not have the plan he qouted me as having.

Illiterate or dumb as he kept saying megabyte instead of megabit, Offered to give me 100 megabyte internet and stated i had 50 already. Claimed he would give me tivo, cable, phone and internet upgrade for 79.99.

Skeptical factors: Internet is measured in megabit not megabyte. He offered me 800 megabit internet and combined with the other stuff that would have been way too low a price.

Mentioned docsis 3.1 modem and claimed it was a brand when i asked which brand it was, kept stating its docsis brand. Either mediacoms sales team is not educated on the product they sell or this was a poor scam attempt. I tried educating him to no avail.

Anyone can spoof a number.
