Just got a call today.  No message left.
They called my cell phone, which is also on the Do Not Call list.

I received 2 calls over the holiday (Thanksgiving) weekend on the 25th and 26th at different times.
No message left on mine either. I typically don't answer if I don't know the number.

I called the number back and they say they are from Verizon Wireless.

5th call from them in about a week. No voicemail left any of the times, haven't bothered answering because I don't recognize it.

Got a call this morning, it rang only 3 times before the caller hung up. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. There was no message left. However, I have looked up 855 and it IS a toll free number made available within the last year for use in the U.S. and Canada.

BEWARE, if you answer a number beginning with area code 855, YOU will be charged, the caller will not.

This is a company who is working/representing Verizon Wireless. They have called me for the past few weeks as my 2 year contract ended in early Dec. They want me to buy another phone and sign up for another 2 yr committment, when I said no. They have canned responses such as "well, I will go ahead and leave everything the same except sign you up for a one year guarantee and give you 500 free minutes to use whenever, I will do that now."  I politely declined and they said they will close their file with no changes.

Well they called me today and I returned their call.. when I refused to give them my account information she got mad. I called #pmt and talked to a real verizon wireless rep who verified this number is not affiliated with verizon wireless and reported it to be investigated. The customer service rep I spoke with said when verizon wireless calls you (outgoing) they do not need you to verify your information.. haha. Nice try from the post above..

I received a call yesterday afternoon and then one this morning. I answered the second time and there was no one on the line. I have no idea who it would be calling me but it is annoying & I am on the do not call registry.

I did not answer, and no message left
11 AM.

And a third call.
10AM.
Again, no message was left.

And a fourth call.
4PM.
Again, no message was left.

And a fifth call.
3PM.
Again, no message was left.

Call #6..
Noon.
Again, no message was left.

Has called me 4 - 5 time now, has not left a message. I normally dont answer numbers I don't recognize and if their important, they will leave a voicemail.

If it is indeed a fake Verizon Wireless person, I won't be answering. Especially considering I'm not the main line for the Verizon account.

Even if these were legit calls they are supposed to have their name come up not "unavailable" etc.
It's time the overpaid government employees who kissed someone but to get a cushy job actually did their job and stop this constant barrage of annoying calls.
The best results I have gotten is to file complaints with the FCC. They actually do something while the FTC is a joke as par as phone harassment goes.

They say they are from verizon.

I get the call every other day....4 times. Let's see if they call again. I do not answer numbers I don't know.

Have no idea of the # that called but from the complaints listed see it's a scam

It's been calling about every other day this week!! Very annoying!!!
