Legit collection number

Called RBC customer service. The staff assured me that this phone number is not legit. FRAUDSTERS

I've gotten calls from this seems legit, but give me a break. I paid my monthly already

Not too sure if this is a scam call are not, pretty sure they had a different number from before. But they use to usually state "this call is being recorded for purposes" which they don't do anymore

I work for the collections department at RBC. It's amazing how many people accuse us of being scammers when all they have to do is check their online banking to see that the information we are telling them about their cards is legit. They would prefer to be arrogant and abusive than to follow-up on their card payments. We just shake our heads and move on. We're trying to help people to clean up their Credit Bureau Ratings by trying to cure their accounts bring them up to date and advise them on how to stay out of collections. This is a LEGIT phone number. Stop ignoring our calls and fix your credit!

I just called RBC with the number on the back of my card, and asked them about this number. I was advised that it is NOT one of their numbers and to call the Canadian Anti-Fraud and report the number.

Someone at work texted me to tell me he answered a call from RBC asking for me to call back this number. Not trusting the number, I called RBC directly with the number on the back of my card, and the gentleman told me it was NOT a valid RBC call, and suggested reporting the phone number to the Candian Anti-Fraud system.
