Pop up came up on iPhone saying that my phone had been compromised and to call apple support. Called the number and some Indian lady answered and said she was with Apple support. Hung up immediately! Don't get scammed by these people

received same pop-up and call this number.  Voice introduces "Welcome to online technical support". Sound so suspicious so I Hang up immediately!

Do not call these pepole dont pay them a dime they are not contect with Apple... i got my mom an ipad for Christmas she went to use the system a few weeks ago .. A pop up came up saying to call Apple support to fix the problem she couldn't get to any of her Apps or on line... i know someone personally who works for apple I spoke to him ..told me apple we never tell you to call or pay to fix their IPad without knowing what the issue was... The person gave me a number apple support ... Spoke to apple support she fixed it for me so my mom can again use her Ipad the person at apple support wanted to know the number told her 1855 277 2304.. She said she will have it forward to the complain unit ...i her told let them know These people are using apple name i told her which is a copyright infringement and since it is though the internet,  Wifi services and the pop ups blocks you from getting on the internet im calling the FCC and verizon who is my carrier ... I called both the next day... Im a big boy i can handle myself but you dont do that to my 70 year old mother  saying that her system was comprised all her information..i called verizon and the FCC the next day filing a report... After i was done i call the 855 277 2304 i let them have he actually admit after laying into him they are not part of Apple and he will fix my ipad for free and cerdit my card if i paid any money .... So dont be a fool this is not part of apple its a scam .

Just a FYI follow up they now have a new number 1888 804 1995...other number was no longer in service then I looked on line 1888 804 1995 claiming to be Apple I called Apple this is a copyright infringement everyone should have a right to enjoy they computer table and phone at leisure or for work without these pop ups claiming to be a company they are not they are using other company names and ID for their personal gain... I hope Apple Microsoft and any other big tech companies put a stop to this based on company copyright infringement and FCC gets involved since it's Internet they are messing with people private and rights to use their internet they are paying without being interfered with...
