Fake IT support company claiming that suspicious activity was detected on "one of my Apple devices." Left automated voicemail. Called them back and he started asking questions about how many Apple devices I had. Bogus. No such suspicious activity occurred and Apple did NOT contract these scammers to call me, as they claimed they did when I called them back to chew them out. Block number.

The same thing just happened to me. I knew it was a scam right away as well and blocked the number. Creepy.

This is a scam call telling you they are reporting suspicious activity on your apple ID and apple I Cloud. When I told the guy with an Indian accent that I thought it was a scam, he hung up.

anyone in congress going to address these scams? We could spit Atoms but we can't trace the source of scammers taking advantage of people who may be vulnerable? I asked the guy straight out "are you full of [***] with this phone call"? he didn't answer me. Kept fishing. Tried to get me to sign into the computer with some scammy address...Join me.com or some crap... tired of it. Getting like 3-4 phone calls a day. Registered "do not call list" . Doesn't work. We have to get more serious about this. It's out of control.

just to add to my last post. The guy kept telling me my ID was hacked overseas and that someone has access to ALL my personal records through my phone IP...just one thing, Phones don't have IP's, computers do....scum!!!

I got a call from this number with an automated message about suspicious activity on my icloud account. I thought it seemed bogus so I googled the number to find all these comments (thank you for that !) I called them back and the guy answered the phone "technical support " I let him know about the automated call and said to remove me from their list because I don't own any apple devices.  He hung up without saying anything.

Stated overseas in 4 diff. Countries, suspicious activity, iCloud.....same game. Indian accent, guy wanted me to use a different device other than my iPad to go online and he was going to walk me through to block them. I also got a woman with Indian accent who hung up on me.

Calling & cussing me out! Indian scammers!

Same as above, except the woman had an Asian accent told me her nae was Gloria Collins.  As soon as I heard that she wants for me use my PC I knew it was a scam.

Got a call from them, too. Went along with it to see what their scam was. Usual "We have detected iCloud breach" scam. I contacted the VoIP provider.

I received a call from 855-277-2368 on 7/30/2017 around 3:00pm EST saying my iCloud had been compromised.  When I asked the person to confirm they were from Apple the person calling me in a joking manner asked if "I was a lawyer".  That's when I knew this call wasn't a legit call.  Apple technicians are most professional and wouldn't have said that.

I just got this call. A computer generated voice said the following:
"This is to inform you that we have noticed some suspicious activity with your icloud ID. We have been getting the notification on our main server for the past few days. We seriously recommend you to call us on 1-888-320-8649. I repeat 888-320-8649. We request you to not use your computer or other Mac devices before speaking to our certified technicians. For help and support, please press 1, and to hang up, press 2."
It belongs to a fake IT company with a fake Page to boot.

I experienced the same mentioned in all of the previous comments; automated message that my iCloud was hacked and to not use any of my Apple devices and call them back. Very creepy. It is ridiculous that our politicians allow these scams to happen. There are many people who will mistakenly think this is Apple and give these crooks their personal information. Not good. Prosecute them.
