left a message without a company name or name of person who left the message, saying they need to verify activity. I call and the person answering said it was amazon, asked for my name to look up my account and when I gave them my name they hung up on me. SCAM

Left message saying calling from Amazon . Call this number , noticed 2 activities from separate places . Call immediately. I did not call . Google searched # SCAM

Received a call definite scam.  Charging fee for fixing Amazon account  service problem.

Answered my phone and a recorded message had already started, saying that there was unusual activity on my Amazon account.  When I tried to call the number back it was busy.  Funny I don’t have an amazon account

I received the call that my amazon account was being used. I did not respond. SCAM

I received a call from this number telling me my Amazon account was charged $1,000. They wanted to fix my computer from the hacker and wanted to charge me $200. They were very convincing but at the end I'm glad I did not fall for it.

Called; I do not answer if I don't recognize the number.

Scam call

Recorded message purportedly from Amazon saying there was unauthorized activity on my account.  I immediately checked and found nothing unusual.  Called Amazon directly and was told they do not call when there is a problem, rather they email.  Definitely a scam.

A robo-call saying Amazon account was being used in a suspicious location, but I don't have an Amazon account.  It left this number as the callback to confirm if the activity was mine or not, which of course, I didn't call back.

Rcvd call, no msg - did not answer, after search - marked as spam.

Called and left a partial voice message. Showed 800-SERVICE . Scam went to voice mail.blocked

Received recorded message as above, I assume, on Aug 5, 2019.  Did not call back.

***SCAM*** verifying active phone numbers I suspect.
Received a robo call from this number warning of suspicious activity on my Amazon account.
They wanted my name and told me someone in Dayton, OH had access.
They asked me if I wanted to block the $500 gift card they were trying to purchase.
But my account showed no activity and my phone number is not associated with it.
