Receiving threatening type messages re; some type of legal action for someone I don't even know.

I also keep receiving threatening calls from them. Its always a recording to call back. Don't know who it is but they call about twice a day. First it was legal action against me for a subpoena and now it's about a check.

This number belongs to Transit Capitol.  They also have been calling from 888-251-4117.  They call from both numbers at least daily, trying to reach the person who had my number before me.  I chose not to identify myself and called from a generic number, just to be sure.

Received message about problems with a check?  Caller ID had "Global Connect" listed

Received a threatening auto call from this number for a few days now saying they are closing an account unless I call them back. Call did not disclose the company or who they were calling for.

I get a call from these people almost every hour and every day.  Reporting them to state attorney general's office.  So annoying!

This company has been calling me for about three months to collect from someone who had the number before me.  I had already called them at the 888-251-4117 number and told them to remove my phone number from their call list.  After that, I went to the National Do Not Call Registry and listed all my phone numbers.

They called from the 855-287-0070 number today.  I called them back while I was on the State Attorney General's page and told them that I had already asked to be removed.  I said I did not like their tactics.  They hung up on me.

I called back and the same woman answered so it must not be a huge call operation.  I said that I had just called and I wanted assurance that I was taken off their list.  The woman answered, "Mam, I took you off the list."  said, "Why did you hang up on me?"  She hung up again.

I get calls from these people also. I do have a loan that I defaulted on and I was part of a class action lawsuit against the loan company. I have been paying these people for the loan and I have since been told that I should not be doing that. I have also been contacted by 3 other companies that claim THEY have the paperwork on this same loan. What do I do now? When I stopped making payments to these people, they threatened me even more than they did when this started!! HELP ME

got a call from 855-287-0070 saying that i'm being investigated for fraudlent banking activity...strange.

They call my telephone number at least once a day and leave a threatning message.  They don't say who is calling or why.

Possible legal action for fraudulent banking; gave a case number but no name given of caller; no name given of company or firm he was calling for. He/they will not have to wonder why there was a report filed for an investigation into possible fraudulent information gathering procedures and liable for slander.

Now he tells me this matter could affect my check. I need to call this number to clear up this matter. Just so you all know, as well as waiting for either the arrest warrant or subpoena to be served from my previous post here, I am now also waiting for my bank to contact me about this check. I also have a friend of mine who is a police officer and I am talking to him about filing an official police report. This report I will be sending copies of to the FCC, the FTC and possibly even the FBI. Don't care about receiving any kind of monetary judgement (they'd just disappear and not pay anyway). But good charges of fraudulent collection/information gathering procedures, deception by telecommunication device and liable for slander should very well end this individuals calling for awhile. Then maybe later down the road, we can do it again.
