    A call from "The Department of Social Security Administration" to "inform me that they have suspended my SSN because they found some suspicious activity." The voice is computer generated. Definitely SPAM.

    I just received the same call.  Knowing it was a scam, I pressed "1" to see who would answer and as I suspected, it was a very busy call center with a very thick offshore accent. DO NOT BE FOOLED PEOPLE!
