Recorded voice saying my social security number has been suspended because of anomalous transactions and to press 1 to speak to an officer which I did. A live person answered pretending that it was indeed the social security administration and asked how he can help me. I told him you they called me. So he introduced himself as officer so and so and asked me my name and I told him they called me and they don't even know who I am? Then he hanged up.

I received the same call at about the same time. Called back and got a busy signal. Figured it was a fraudulent call as both SS and the IRS will use more formal channels, like traditional mail, or they will leave a much more substantial voice mail.

They called got same message as the rest. I didn't answer or call back. However, I received another call from another # and they left same message.  Then after another call from Sierra Leone, in Africa.
