SCAM SCAM SCAM !!! This company calls with a recorded message. If you respond, they try to get personal information out of you !!!

Hundreds of calls from 855 287-8238.  pain in the rear end.  Running out of free Verizon blocks

It appears to be Verizon. Responding to a service failure I'm currently dealing with.

The number belongs to Verizon delivery services.
If you ordered a modem, router, temporary voice device or any other equipment, this is the number that shows up when they are trying to reach you. When you call back, you can reach a live person.

This phone number is from Verizon Delivery Services.
If you are having difficulties with your phone line, or any other services, they will call you from this number to offer equipment to remedy the situation.  The initial call is recorded but when you call back, you can speak to a live Verizon associate. Michael is correct.

Have called my office everyday (automated call) apologizing for disruption in service - we haven't had one!! It gives you the option to press 1 if you want a temporary voice mail system or 3 to decline it. I hit 3 and the message started again! I tried disconnecting the call without actually hanging up and I couldn't. I hung up.
