Is this a scam caller?

No idea who they are. If they are legit, they should say who they are.  I never answer unknown numbers.  They are being saved to the scam list.

called today.. blocked number using call pro.. shall see if block works.

I just called it back and they are called Ace Insurance  doing work for Nation Star.

Ace insurance. They keep calling us every day. I only answered it once. Next time I'm gonna tell them to remove us from their list. He said they are our property insurance co. which is not true. They do work with our mortgage company but our insurer is different. Caller ID said Unknown but it actually displays the number after a few seconds.

I get a daily call from this number and I never answer.  They inadvertently didn't hang up last time and I heard about 5 minutes of call center chat in the background.  I heard what sounded like a black female voice offering something for "$27/mo and would you like to go forward with that?"

Calling on behalf of Nationstar (our mortgage carrier) re disaster recovery insurance.  They wanted to talk to my husband and would not talk to me.  I told them that I handle all our accounts and they need to talk to me.  They refused and wanted to know a better time to call my husband.  I said never and don't call back until they are ready to talk to ME.  I wonder if I will ever hear from them again.

The woman (reading from a script) started to say she was calling from/on behalf of Nationstar, but then she stopped and back tracked and said she was with Ace Insurance and kept reading from her script.  I cut her off and asked her to just tell me in 7 words or less what she was selling.  She said it was disaster insurance.  I asked her what type of disaster and she went back to reading her script.  I hung up on her.  If these live robo-callers want to waste my time I might as well enjoy my time with them.

Almost everyday I get calls from this number where the caller never leaves a message.  I too don't answer calls if I don't recognize the number and have the answering machine pick up......If they are an insurance company, I'm not interested.
These calls are very annoying.

Nationstar mortgage selling our info to telemarketers for disaster insurance. This is the #1 reason I would never have another mortgage with Nationstar. Way too many telemarketer calls. I've asked them to stop and I've done the phone prompts to stop releasing our info. Doesn't work. That's okay, selling our house and our next mortgage will NOT be with Nationstar.

Ace Disaster Insurance Company.  Not only in violation of "Do Not Call" list, but Nationstar Mortgage was given written and verbal instructions, plus several phone requests following the prompts to NOT give our home number out. (which they obviously DID NOT follow as per the wriitten form that was submitted, nor their supposed phone prompt system)  Person that called , called me by CJ several times as though they may have been a friend, with a note of concern in their voice.  "CJ are you there?  CJ?  Hey CJ, pick up!"  MmmmmHmmmm, yeah
clever, deceptive, irritating and really repugnant telephone practices, I classify these calls right up there with cyber thieves!!!
Nationstar really does NOT have a clue regarding customer service, and are rather flippant about following their OWN protocols to insure customer satisfaction.  Makes me wonder just how much other pertinent information they have sold!  Not only does Nationstar need to get nailed with a major fine, but so do their supposed "sell lists" for telemarketers!  Pronto can't happen soon enough for me!

I told them no, to remove me from their list and blocked the number.  They've since tried calling 12 times.  Pathetic.

I get the same call.  They've called for the last 3 days during the day.  They ask for my husband, and when I tell them he is busy, they say that they will call back at another time.  When they called the other day, I told them do NOT call again!  They called this morning, but I did not pick up the phone this time.  Next time they call, I am going to ask for a person's name, and will threaten to call my lawyer (which I don't really have one, but still).  This is bordering on harassment.  It's obvious that my husband is not home during the day (god forbid he works for a living so he can afford a house for his family).

I've kept telling them my husband is not home, and that they need to leave a message with me.  They have been calling DAILY for like the last week.  I'm about to go to their website and leave a nasty gram under contact us.  This is getting ridiculous.
