- Ann| 2 repliesWhen anyone has a resume online, these type telemarketer companies steal your phone number and call you to play their recording of "job fair' etc. I called this number back and they did have the option to press "1" to have no more calls. So I did that.

- LC| 1 replyRecording about Denver job fair. Although the job fair is probably legitimate, it sure is annoying that by applying for jobs your number gets passed around. I have NEVER posted my resume for generic/public viewing. I have only applied for specific jobs with specific companies, but it looks like even if you choose the non-public resume upload on job sites, they still give out/sell your information. Every time I apply for a job thru Monster for example, and even though my app is going directly to a specific employer, my phone starts ringing the next day with calls from companies wanting me to apply for jobs I have no interest (or background) in.
As others mentioned on this thread, I called 855.298.2545 back and chose option 1 to "block" my number. Hopefully that's all it takes.- Call type: Telemarketer

- AEChoice Career Fairs called me as well, only there was no option to press "1" to be removed from the list. When I called the number (repeatedly) all I got was a busy signal. I finally called the salesman who does the packages for employers (really nice guy who sounded like he was tired of getting these calls) and asked him what was going on. He told me to call Mike Brown at (702) 257-1562. I got the receptionist who said Mike had just left for the day (of course). She took me off the list and says she usually has to do it manually. If for some reason Mike Brown isn't in the office or still employed there when you happen to see this, ask whoever answers to take you off the list.
