Scam number claiming to be a legal office.

yeah seems to be grabbing at straws. Never mentions the law office. or what the offense is Clains to be frank carter, The phone number comes up unidentified.

This is defintely a scam they to use intimidation as a threatening tool

So, you must work for the company and have nothing better to do, but browse websites.  I did extensive research and you should know that threatening phone calls are against the law.  BTW...the second number associated with this so called legit number is 855-640-3311

I recieved a message from these scammers last week they told me since I was not cooperating that they were just going to send legal papers over too me and then they hung up on me.  Well Its been a week I have not recieved any papers and they had the nerve to call again so I could let them know they are scammer again today... Dumb people never learn!!!  Point is dont give them a dime they are not legit and might want to have there number changed soon so they can scam someone else cause its not going to be me!

First of all, I have been served legitimately by several credit card companies.  NOBODY CALLS YOU AND TELLS YOU WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!! NOBODY CALLS YOU AND TELLS YOU THAT YOU WILL BE SERVED. I can usually tell if it is legit, when I get a letter from a local lawyer who takes over the case...again...they don't call you first!!!

I got a call from them. the guy name is Bryan Anderson. He never says what Law firm he represents but says i owe for a payday loan (( online of course)) and says they will serve me papers if i dont respond by a certain time today...

I told them to come on and when they show up, they will be sorry

Scam!! I reported them!! I have no bills besides local doctors so these 800 numbers are just trying to get money!! DONT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFO!!! BRIAN ANDERSON  is the attorney calling my number.

So, I just got a call from a restricted number from Paul Johnson telling me he has been trying to get a hold of me for the past couple days and since I haven't responded he will have to come to my place of business or residence to serve me.  then he tells me if i call 855-298-4475 I need to talk to Don Harris and this is my final warning...first off Paul Johnson, a legit office doesn't call from a restricted number and then leave a toll free number.  Secondly, you are breaking the law for threatening me so this is your final notice, the next call to you will be from my new attorney so check the job listings soon you will need it.  You need to get numbers right so you can reach the whoever you're looking for instead of seeing who you can pull something over to make some money.  You don't leave a company name so you really think someone is going to call you and just hand over information because you threaten someone???  loser!!!

Yeah I got a message that was left on my vm from someone by the name Mr Harris.  He said that he has a docket number and that he is trying to get my side of the story pertaining to an incident.  I don't make it a habit of getting in trouble with the law and since he cant give me the name of the Law Office and where they are located, I don't feel the need to call back.  This is just ridiculous.

I just got a call saying I am gona be served from a Brian Anderson at 855 640 3311 and I am not in any kind of legal trouble so this is BS. just fyi.....

These freaks call me all the time. Don't give any personal information over the phone

I had the same thing happen to me

It's 2014 and I just received one of these calls from a law office regarding a case associated with my social security number.  What's weird I just went to the social security office this past Wednesday to update my marital status and name change.  They said they've been trying to contact me.  I was totally lost.  But funny thing is when I called the guy with a thick Asianac accent automatically says to me "oh that was a mistake, disregard the message."  Weird stuff!!

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

they called under number 866-549-8189 Frank Carter as well.  threatening me that they are going to come to my work to get a signature and that I would need two forms of id so they could give me a summons?  really?

I am so sick of being harassed.  I never pick up I just send off a complaint to the attorney generals office with the new numbers they call on.  PAYDAY USA.  I did apply but was not approved and they had my info and pass it around.  What a great world we live in..

I mean Cash USA not Payday usa.

These people keep calling me and leaving threating voice mails usually "consider this call that you have been served" I can't tell you how many times I recieved the same message....
