You are not correct.  This is a collection agency.  They received all your information probably from your credit report.  Do not answer, send money, or call back.  Send them a "cease and desist" letter, and by law they must stop contacting you!

Yes you lost out on this money.  I did the same 2 days ago.  They got me too. :( i called my bank to file a dispute of the charge cancelled my card and filed a police report.  Jerks scared me totally.  "Summons filed with jurisdiction"

They did the same thing to me. I gave them more then 2k until I started working with a credit repair company and they are no where on my credit reports. I have hired an attorney to sue them.

They got us today too...already going to file a dispute with our bank...they said they weren't a law firm...I called and told them they were fishy And that I Need more information , like their address. They could not give me that information. And then Paul Tommis calls me back from a blocked #!!! Complete bull...threatened to sue us if we didn't pay the debt we owe. We already disputed the 800 with our bank and now we are going to press charges against them so it doesn't happen to anyone else. Complete fakes...I sensed it from the beggining. They called family members and even had all of outlet credit report information. Hang up on these asssholes!

also hire an attorney and sue them. They said the same thing to me and I have lost of 2k. You have rights as a consumer and can sue them for breaking those rights. Let me know if you need any help if you decide to do that.

I recieved a call from them yesterday saying that they are basically suing me. I've never herd of these ppl in my life. I do owe unemployment money, but this was quite random. Should I call back? They said something about an attorney too.

This is a fraud.  You don't need to worry - don't call back or answer any calls from this fraudulent scam.

This number called my cell. Not recognizing the number, I canceled the call.
Seeing it as a collections scam I would think ANY OF US would know whether or not we owe money or have been delinquent. Every bank, card or business would contact you long before it goes to a collector.
My recent credit check found everything in order - probably how they got my account.

Dont call them back they cant sue you. File a complaint with the General attorneys office in NY. They told me the same thing and I am suing the company as we speak bc they lied and took my money. The General attorneys office in NY will do something about it for you!

I've received several calls from them on my cell phone. They have requested to speak with me, but are using my maiden name. I haven't used my maiden name in over 15 years. My credit report and credit score are excellent.

The next time they call, inform them they are violating the TCPA by calling your cell phone without your consent and you will take them to court and sue them for up to $1,500 per violation if they continue to call.

Multiple calls every day. Automated announcement very annoying.
