Got a call from this number today; not sure who it's from.

Just got a call. Seems like a scam.

Left message stating they were Landmark and need an answer regarding my "file".  Not sure who are what they want.

I get calls on my work cell about once a week from these idiots. They will not remove my number despite numerous requests.

Fear not if you are receiving phone calls from this agency, "Landmark." They are a scam collection agency (read: you typically will not even owe a debt when receiving these calls) that masquerade as a law office. Their game is to bully you into thinking you are in legal trouble in an attempt to get you to hand over your checking account. Do NOT fall for them. Report them to you local Attorney General's office. There is a new wave of these types of companies.

Again, they are not a legitimate "business," let alone a law firm who can do any harm to you.

Got this # calling me,,. A man named "Paul" told me he needed to speak with me re:an urgent file that was placedç on [his] desk for review.  He went on to say  call back about my file so we could   discuss options before .decision was made.  I have no clu who is calling and what "debt" they are supposedly trying to collect on,

Got this # calling about a payday loan. That I owed 2,000 dollars. And can I send some money today. And they can put a hold on that account until I make a payment. The man name was Frank. He left some message about I been serve with a summon.
