Evening call.  No message.

call came Sunday afternoon about 3:34 pm, no message, no  name on the  caller ID, only listed as a toll free call.   Thought they were not allowed to call on Sunday...?

Caller identified themselves as calling for the xxxx state sheriffs association. Wanted to share with me all the good work they do in the community protecting kids from danger online predators, etc. We all know that's a problem, he says. I asked what percentage of the funds they raised went directly to the local community programs and what percentage was overhead. After expense the total actually given to charity is 16%. Yeah, ok....

Caller contacted me this afternoon at 4:28 and did not provide any information regarding name, company etc.  Caller hung up. I have redialed the number and it has been ringing unanswered for approximately 5 minutes.

Received call from this number. No message just hang up but heard other voices in background.
Any chance of getting information on toll-free, unavailable, blocked, etc numbers plus add charities and politicial calls to Federal and State Do Not Call List?

I get these phone calls several times a week. when I answer there is no one there to talk to and I am sick and tired of them. I am going to talk to the states attorney about this. they certainly have a problem. but it had better stop.

Rec'd call from this numberat 1pm today, i let it ring, didn't answer.

Every morning at 8:30 a.m.a.m.  Do not answer phone when dialed. *60 will block calls on most phones.

why doesn't the fcc check out pages such as this one and do something about stopping these intrusions.  had a very cheeky man, knew my name, tell me to stop saying hello...creepy

Sheriff fundraiser - poorly witten script - play with them awhile. Wanted a pledge and mailing information. Poor quality phone line, maybe an internet phone. Makes me less likely to ever give to any charity

just reeceived call, did not answer, no msg. was left - nusiance / annoying fools that serve no purpose

Called and hung up when it went to answering machine.  Called back and no answer....phartknockers

Caller asked for me by full first name (not what friends call me).  When I asked who it was, they said "It simple, either XXX is there or he's not..."  so I hung up before they finished.
