Continually calls for an employee that hasn't been employed by our District in over 10 years. Called back on the number requested and no one answers.  Called back on the number that appears on the caller ID, spoke to someone and they stated they would remove the number, which is now my private number. That never happened.  They continue to call every day!

Associated numbers 405)445-1219, 888-515-1955, and of course 855-383-4784. Somehow got ahold of my old information on an old debt from 7 years ago that I have proof of paying in full. Talked to an American or someone who can fake an American accent. Scam. Not the first time on this exact debt. A couple years after I had paid it off had some Asian try and do the exact same thing. I can be a telephone tough guy too.

IF you choose to talk to these folks, here's a few ideas I have used in the past with other fakers!

I used to tell these type scammers in my most innocent rural voice (which I am) to please ask that my cousin Beau to come arrest me cuz we hadn't seen each other in a while & it'd be nice to visit on way back to the jail!  ...for some reason,  they used to get huffy and hang up on me... Go figure!  You'd think they'd have a sense of humor!

Actually,  I had 2-3 I would bait them with.
-- hey! Ask 'em to stop at the burger shack & bring burgers & fries for both of us! I'll have the iced tea and cake ready, then we can head on to jail & see my Uncle Bob!
-- ?? they brought back debtor's prison?  HotDang!! I been looking for somebody to give me free room & board, free medical & meds,  & color cable TV AND not HAVE to work!!!  Let's skip the trial & let me report to prison! I need some medical tests run!!!
[Sorry to make light of going to jail, but it DOES often stop these people in mid-sentence. They sometimes even laugh!)
-- oh good!! Would ya tell them I'm a big bad guy & to send two muscled officers? I got a dresser & mirror I might be able to get them to move before we go to the jailhouse!

I think some of them would call just to see what If come up with, Lol!
They're breaking the law. They know it. I chose to have fun with it WHILE pushing for info from them:
1-- name of company they work for
2-- physical address company they work for
3-- main phone # of company they work for
    4-- debt collector's license# from the state
5-- full name of Owner and/or President of the company
6-- full name of Compliance Officer of company
If they can't/won't give you the information, tell them you won't  talk to them because your mom told you not to talk to strangers without all that information...and hang up on them.
They'll prob call right back...keep asking YOUR questions. On third time they winter answer, hang up.... They'll get the message!

When ya get any of this info, please post it so we might get a chance to research them & "peel the onion" on them!

2-- Bar License # and State (maybe can finesse which alleged Law School out of them)
    3-- & other questions above

Would it not be better to suggest that people actually use what the law says instead of stupidity that will get you nowhere?  Would it not be better to suggest that people should learn their rights and use them?  Would it not be better to suggest that people make reports to both Federal and State Agencies?  Would it not be better to suggest that people gather enough information to sue the callers?  I have to wonder why you did not suggest all of this since you claim to have been around here for years.  Is it possible that you never read any of the many informative posts made by Resident47 and all of us here including me?  Maybe that is why your posts were taken down in other threads?  Because you posted nonsense and misinformation instead of actually helping people?
