Woman has called 3 times this week and won't leave a verbal message.  Keeps asking for voicemail.  This time I started asking her questions.  She's with VanGuard Cleaning Systems and got really rude with me telling me put her in the voicemail.  When I laughed, she hung up on me.

    Hello,

I am associated with the number and it is indeed a 3rd party marketing firm. That said, we are not to ever be rude to a person we are calling. Would you be willing to send me the number that this person called so I can review the call?? If there was anything inappropriate in the caller's actions I am able to correct this and make sure that it does not happen again.

Please post the number here or if you do not want to post the number then please e-mail it to me at wcrosson@yourtelechoice.com

This is not a joke, etc. I will legitimately correct any wrong doing on our behalf. Additionally, I will be happy to give you feedback on what I have found/done.

    Thanks,
    Bill

You should know the phone number everyone is speaking of because this news feed asks if anyone called you from that number.  I also received a phone call from the number asking the same question and they keep calling, even after being told "we do not accept any solicitation of business of any kind".  Then they just rudely hang up.  Now, why would anyone want to email you? Then you will have their name and email address.  Shady businesses like yours try to get a persons name so they can send them some type of bill saying "Authorized by"  to try to make it seem legit!  Have a nice day.

    Hello,

To be clear, I was asking for the number that we called. We are a 3rd party marketing company and we call thousands of business numbers each M-F. Every phone call we make is recorded. So if I know the number we called I can review the call and make sure my employees are doing what they are supposed to be doing...

As for billing anyone, I have approx 20 clients I work for and bill. I have and never will bill the folks we call. And I do not try to sell them anything... We are an appointment setting company. So no "Invoices authorized by" situations...

I am legitimately trying to do the right thing here...

    Thanks,
    Bill

When you answer this call, the person on the other end says,  "Which company am I calling?"  If you don't know that very basic thing, I can't help you. "Click"

Surprisingly it was a person calling, and polite at that. Vanguard wanted to offer a quote for cleaning services, I only had to tell him no thank you twice before he said Ok, thank you for your time.
If I have to suffer cold sales calls, it is at least nice that this one didn't leave my blood boiling.

    Receptionist.
Gentleman called in asking who takes care of our cleaning services. I advised that cleaning services are covered by our building's management company. He said thank you for your time and disconnected. I get many sales calls every day, but at least this guy was polite, not pushy, and knew when to stop. Not something I get from the sales calls I commonly get.

    Horse Crap.
You know darn well you are not allowed to call cell phones directly...you are simply a scammer and everyone that reads these post are not stupid, Bill.  So take your company and your calls and stick it. Oh, and stop pissing people off with your nonsense.
