Received a phone call from "Legal Processing Services" this morning advising me to call back within 24 hours or I'd be served papers on Monday (today is Thursday) at my home address. I decided to call Kirkwood and Associates back (855-391-2117) and spoke with Mr. Price - Director of Operations. During our call, I repeatedly asked for their mailing address which they refused to provide. Once I let Mr. Price know that I was recording the call, he immediately told me that he did not agree to that, and very quickly hung up the phone. I've repeated calls to their office (count of 21 times) requesting this same information - just a simple mailing address. Each time they refused to provide it. Shame, shame, shame. And here I thought we were going to get along.

On the 22nd call, my phone rang once, then went to a busy signal. Cute, boys ... very cute. You're refusing to accept calls from someone you claim owes a debt that you're collecting on. How does that sound like good business? Can't we all just get along?

According to the information "Mr. Price - Director of Operations" provided to me (without verifying any personal information other than me confirming my name), indicates that this is a time-barred debt. Another oops! Gosh, fellas ... you off your game today?

"Mr. Price - Director of Operations" indicated that they are a DEBT COLLECTION COMPANY, and NOT an Attorney or Attorney's Office.

My recommendation: inundate them with return calls asking for THEIR personal information (mailing address, are they licensed in your state to collect a debt, their license #, etc) ... eventually they'll stop.
