Scam. Pretending to be official inspectors from OSHA to make sure you have signs and first aid kit and fire extinguisher. Was told they are representing the government. Don't fall for it. Scam. They will charge you for inspection you are not required to have or need. They only leave you alone if you refuse to pay their fee.

Scam,  They said they have safety notices required to be displayed in work place or an inspector can fine you.  For a one time fee they can provide it for you.  They are pretending to be a government agency.

TOTAL SCAM!! They rang my cell phone and said that it was required by law to have these whatever signs and fire extinguishers posted.....that they are required to be posted at in business.....

These people keep calling my cell nyumber ,they are agressive and very unpolite ,don't fall for it ....
they tell you they are "safety Standard "if you ask who they represent and if you ask the question twice they get nasty say "never mind and have a good day" and hang up .

they called me repeatedly for three days at all times. the lady said her name was sharon bellar.i fell for it and made an ach. what saved me was that i delayed it for a few hours. i called the bank after reading this post. thanks everyone for posting your experience.

Woman called from this number claiming to be from "Office of Compliance and Safety" asking for the owner. Stated that as a business we are required to have signs and up to compliance, etc. I said... yes? But you are calling from a telemarketer number? And she asked who else I spoke to, then again asked for the owner and was not happy to hear I was a co-owner. She tried her spiel again and I asked her to get to the point, that yes we are aware of the laws and regulations and her saying the word compliance is not intimidating me. She hung up.

Called several times. I actually answered once and a lady claimed I needed certain laminated compliance signs for my new business. She asked for a credit card for the $189 fee and that's when I questioned the whole thing and hung up. It didn't feel right. Then I googled the number and found out its a scam. Whew! Good to know. Thanks.

This number called in regards to information mailed pertaining to our employees. We have none, and we never requested anything. The lady called from a really poor line and could barely hear her. She hung up. Rude, misleading and now rejected.

She got called from her. Normally dont answer the 855 and 800 numbers but was ready to just say no and hang up bc ive been being called repeatably none stop since registering for my business license. But when the woman said she was from the government I didnt hang up. She said we needed the signs/posters to displace for 180 dollars and that it was 100 percent tax returnable. She asked about paying and I asked about a check and she said they dont do anything pay mail so i could do an electronic check then i asked about credit card and she said yes. Was just about to give it and put everything together...didnt seem right. especially with the government shut down. just hung up. she called back three times and left two voice mail-one where she apologized for their bad reception which is now obviously not true since i was the one hanging up and rejecting her calls as i looked the number up. glad i did.

We just opened our business a few weeks ago..They called and told us we had to pay 189.00 now..We did call the actual Compliance Office and this is fraud.....

They tried to do it with me but I did not let myself, Thank god

They've been calling all hours of the day. As early as 7:00 a.m. Said they were from the Office of Safety and Compliance. When I asked them from which city, they hung up. Hopefully, this will stop the calls.

I called the number back told them I had all my posters and she said please give me your number and we will add you to our do not call list.

Just received a call from someone representing themselves as an agent with the OCC. They were telling me that my LLC was required to post OCC Laws or I would be fined by an OCC inspector when they arrived to inspect my business. The OCC does not inspect LLCs. This person wanted a $195.00 fee to FedEX these laws to me. When I explained that I had several dealings with the OCC when I worked for a finance business, they tried to tell me that the financial business legal group handles all of that. When I told them that this sounded like a scam, because any law that is required to be posted can be downloaded from a government web site, they hung up.

Got call this morning did not know the number so did not answer it good thing now that I read these I don't give very many people my cell number so when saw number did not know knew some thing was not right.

Got this same call this morning. I listened to the whole thing and then when she asked me for 189$ I told her I would have to research this because I am not in the habit of handing out money to people I do not know or unverified callers and her response was "Yes Ma'am, I will call back *CLICK*" Total scam. Do NOT give money to these people.

"you have reached the US Corporate Compliance Office".  In other words, "hi we are a scam and need your money because we are nigerian muslims that want to blow you and your family up".
