- Sue| 6 repliesI just received a green postcard in the mail with this number on it - sounds like a scam - it says I am eligible for a Medicare and Insurance covered Back or Knee Support System! And I'm nowhere near retirement age!
- KatyI got the same green post card. If this were a legit company googling the phone number would bring up the company.
- KellieM replies to Sue| 5 repliesJust an FYI, you don't have to be retired to get medicare. I am disabled and have had medicare since I was 23. But yes, this is a scam.
- Kurt SmithReceived the green card in the mail....listing my deceased father in laws name. He passed nearly 2 years ago. I called this number twice, asking that his name be removed from their mailing list. They said they would do so. On both calls, I asked them to confirm the name and address they were removing, and both times they hung up on me.......total scam operation

- LindaMy husband received the green card in the mail for the Medicare and Insurance covered back or knee support system. Total scam. Google the toll free number no Pain Center company comes up. Reputable companies would not market to consumers with plain obscure green postcards.

- TiffanyI got a green card in the mail too about being eligible for a back or knee support system but there's no address on it. I Google the phone number and there's no website for it. I'm so glad I came across this website of comments regarding this card so I can now just discard it.
- Anon| 1 replyPROTECT YOUR FAMILY AND DO NOT FALL FOR SUCH SCAMS. Received a green card in the mail reporting we qualify for medicare back or knee pain treatment. NO REPUTABLE WEBSITE. I find it interesting that we receive this card after we received 2 phone SCAMS. 1st call from 843-654-9475 traced back to West Bengal, India. At this number they try the Microsoft SCAM to trouble shoot our PCs. NOT!! 2nd call from 844-325-2778, traced to an Extortion SCAM. At the 2nd number, they claim to be NP Group, VNP Group, North Group. All the male scammers at this number alias is Mark Bishop. They say they are a locating service or trying to locate some person. BEWARE, this is so you can reveal your identity and everyone who lives at your address. PROTECT YOUR FAMILY AND DO NOT FALL FOR SUCH SCAMS.

- Yoda1725 replies to bee beeWhy let a toothless organization, that has no enforcement abilities get involved. Medicare will be billed a whopping amount of money, for something that costs relatively little money. Contact Medicare, and alert them of this fraud.
- TruthScam on green card.

- Gaila GaleIt was not a phone call. Received this green card saying i was eligible for back or knee support system and to call this number. I did not intend to call and since I don't trust many things out there, I figured this was a scam and so googled the number and saw all these other remarks. How does something like this get stopped? Hopefully some authority is reading these and taking steps to stop these people.
- L. NesterUnwanted calls and a green postcard received.
I think it mus be a scam. The card came from "Southern Maryland"- Caller: Unidentified
- Officer Joe NicholsI am a police officer in Oshkosh, WI. Citizens were getting the green card in Oshkosh. I called the number and spoke to Fred, who stated his company was in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Fred later revealed that he is in Asia and is a telemarketer for Durable Medical Equipment. Fred would not answer any more questions as this was against company policy and gave me a number that was disconnected.

- chris h replies to KellieM| 4 repliesif you're disabled, you're not on medicare... you're on medicaid. there's a huge difference. you can't receive medicare until you reach retirement age.
- chris h| 3 repliesreceived the same green postcard in the mail that everyone is describing. i might call the number and see if i can phish any information from them. looks, sounds, and feels like a scam.
- Caller: "The Pain Center"
- ckmiller66 replies to chris h| 2 repliesIf you qualify for disability payments, full or temporary, I believe you receive Social Security Disability payments and can also qualify for Medicare under the age of 65. Not everyone qualifies for Medicaid depend on what state you live in because not all state medicaid is alike.
- ckmiller66I also got the green card in the mail and figured it is a scam. I Googled the phone number to verify. My United Healthcare Dual Complete is excellent and covers nearly everything I need medically. I highly recommend them. Notice that there is no real company name or address on the scam mail-out. I wonder how many people get suckered in by this green card scam. Shame on these scammers!

- BigA replies to ckmiller66| 1 replyYes, you are right and "chris h" has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. You get Medicare 2 years after you qualify for SSD. Age has nothing to do with it. Medicaid is administered by the State, and as you pointed out State laws are all different.
