This is fraud people.  Report them if they call you.  They go by many different business names and associate names.  This is run by a company that steals information and sells it to other fraudulent companies to try to scare people into paying something they don't owe.

Wow!  I DID get various calls from a 'courier' -- forgot his name -- this week!  He called three times one call right after the other.  The first attempt, he got his words confused, then hung up.  Second attempt, same thing, he got his words twisted, then hung up.  Third time (I guess was the charm) he got his wording together and was able to complete the message.  Gave the number 855-393-9028 to call to stop the serving process.  Wished me good luck and everything.  I did talk to a woman who was nice BUT told me I MUST pay $1300 or else I will get served.  I asked what it was for, and they said for an "online loan advance" made in April 2012.  I did have a loan but could have sworn I paid it off without a hitch.  When I asked for what online company, she told me, "I just have 'online loan advance'."  I stressed to her that it has been paid, but unfortunately I do not have any paper/letter that states it was paid off.  I guess I gave too much information because she said that without that letter of clearance the "judge" will still make me pay the $1300+court fees, etc.   .... I set up a first payment of $250 for friday, and the remaining to be paid in two weeks time.... NOW however, I received a call from a Janelle stating she's going to serve me unless I call ANOTHER number (888-736-0267) and get the serving order stopped.  I haven't called THAT number, but what the HECK!  I'm going to cancel that payment I set up and have them serve me.  At least that way I'll have SOMETHING in writing that tells me what it's all about (?) and maybe then I could work it out with the courts...  that is IF I get served at ALL.... geesh.  NEVER GET A PAYDAY LOAN!!!  I guess once your name is out there, these people will dig their claws in to you and harass you.   I regret ever getting it, even though it did help me out at the time.

You better close close the banking account that you gave them because it's a scam. Whoever these criminals are will sell your banking information to other vultures to feed off of.   Don't call them back because they will only fish for more information.  Courier's don't give information, they certainly wouldn't call you in advance to tell you that you are being served a lawsuit.

Got this call a few minutes ago.  Not my first time getting one of these calls unfortunately.  They count on people being afraid, not remembering they paid the loan back or just not knowing that there are limits when it comes to collecting debts.  And no, no one is going to call you to tell you that you are being served court papers.  This person even told me that if I’m not at home, they will come to my work and a supervisor would have to sign too as a witness.  I guess that little extra was to motivate me into calling to avoid the embarrassment of having my supervisor know I’m getting served with legal papers.

Sometimes they will tell you the name of the company and sometimes they won’t chance it.  Or they might use one that could be any of a variety of them like “EZ Cash”.  I have a past with payday loans, but I kept detailed records because I have gotten scammed in the past.  One guy called just after I lost my husband and I wasn’t really thinking straight.  He never even told me who I supposedly owed and got over $700 out of me because I just didn’t want any more drama.

Since then though for the most part, they can’t get me on the phone.  I google every unfamiliar number, and come here.  But some of them have a tactic called number spoofing where they make their number appear to be a local number to get the person to answer.  But even if they get me on the phone I don't talk to them.  If they keep calling I just make it known that I know what they are trying to pull.  Frustrates them to no end.  But now, even if it appears to be a local number, unless I know who it is, I don’t answer.  I let it go to voicemail.

They called my HR once so I also let my HR know about these calls.

I began receiving calls today.....saying a process server was going to come to my house within a time frame...then 2 hours later they called back with a different time frame.  I called the number that was left...because all calls come through as restricted...and i asked the lady that answered where their office was located and was automatically put on hold. So I called back and she then said I was harassing them and they were going to call my local authorities.  Just ignorant people posing as a law firm to scare people. They are unable to answer simple questions about their own company. And process servers don't call to let you know when they are going to show up!!!

    Crazy People!
Just got a call from these people, Before I got a call, they called my sister! They said they had legal documents to deliver to me, or I could work out a payment with them. I asked what it was in regards to and they gave me a name of a PayDay loan company. I asked them for the loan company's phone number and they wanted to know why I needed it. I said I needed to get copies of the loan documents, and they said that would be in the papers they serve me. I know they are trying to scare me, and they are doing a good job of it. Will they actually send someone out with papers for me? to my work?

Some man with this number just called my cell phone and left a message stating, "This is Marshall from PCS Courier Service and we will be delivering some documents to the address we have on file between 1:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m,. and the person accepting the document must have two forms of ID."  He also stated a supervisor must be present to sign.  The call came in as restricted on my cell phone.  I also did online pay loan early last year out of desperation and will never do that again.  Paid if off and closed my bank account because they were taking money out of my account every two weeks and would not stop.  I wish they would serve me, so I can promptly call Legal Shield to  handle these scammers, if they are really trying to serve something.

I work for a company where they would have to go through the Legal Department before they could serve me anything.   I also found information were payday loans cannot collect if you are in a different state, so they use these silly scare tactics to try and make you pay them.    The guy that left the message could not speak correctly and clearly, if someone does plan to serve anything, I will just tell them wrong person and wrong house, then they can crawl back into the hole they crawled out of.

Total scam.   Usually put out by Indian scammer/extortionists who have purchased information from payday loan companies and use it to try to scare people into paying money for a non-existent debt.

Ignore 'em.  They call again, tell 'em you know it's a scam and tell 'em to go to hell!  They won't be expecting that response.
