I receive a message from Empire ( on caller ID: Pittsburgh, PA 412-723-5539). They called me by name and asked me to call to 855-411-7854. I called back, they ask for my date of birth to verify my identity. I hung up.

Called my insurance carrier and they had no idea who
855-411-7854 was....give them NO information....so much for the
Epsilon " no information except your e-mail address wereecompromised during there recent "hack" ...BS
I have received no less then 7 messages from different sources regarding my information
that was "hacked" from Epsilon....shame on them and the government for allowing them to
police there own affairs....I am certain the hackers got alot more info then our e-mail addresses.

They are Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield. They ask information as per HIPPA to make sure they have reached the correct party. In my case they called to tell me a procedure was approved.

I also called Empire BCBS and confirmed that this is an outside firm hired by Empire to give me my authorization code for an upcoming MRI. I told the CSR that their automated message is very cryptic and sounded extremely phoney.

Received a call from this number today. Caller ID said Toll Free Call. Didn't answer and they left no message. Since I don't have the BCBS insurance listed by other people on here and am not planning any medical procedures, i don't understand why this number would be calling me.

They left a messsage tellingme I was selected fromtheir datatbase for a loan of up to $5k to call back to ocnfirm application. I did not submit an application

Today, I got a voicemail from this number stating they were looking for my bf. They said he wrote a "fradulant check" and he will have a warrant for his arrest if he does not settle with them out of court. Just so everybody knows, this is A SCAM!! Do not call them back or give them any info. I work for a courthouse, and I know that this is not legal. If there was a warrant for his arrest, we would know about it!!! everybody be careful

They leave a message identifying themselves as "Empire".  They are not affiliated with Empire BlueCross BlueShield, nor even Empire carpet.

They are Empire insurance's contractor, but does lousy work. I missed the call, but when called back, was asked by their answering machine to input my phone number, I did, then I was told the number can't match their record --- that is the number they used to call me! If you miss their call, just go directly to Empire to get the authorization number.

This is an Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield contractor that handles authorizations (and I assume other things as well).  Once you call the automated system will advise you that it is "Empire".  They will ask for your birthdate to confirm you are who you say you are (I was concerned about giving this but as I am waiting for test authorization I assumed this was legit, which it was).  I do not like third parties involved with sensitive data, but this unfortunately is the world we live in.  So yes, the number is legit.

Just got a call they refer to themselves a Empire, but I do not have blue cross blue shield coverage and did not return the call.

It is legit. I was suspicious at first, but after giving out the birthday info, the automated service told me of the authorizing code for my MRI., which is scheduled for tomorrow.

THIS IS LEGIT, EMPIRE APROVAL FOR MY MRI!

they said they have legal documents regarding your name they said they was coming to my home and work. his name was john andrews. this is crazy
