New number, and they have changed their game a little.  It isn't a recording, but trying to collect on the same ficticious debt.  When will they get a real job.  Of course, I called her on it and she tried to say I was the scammer.  PLEASE!  She left a message that it was Aurie Johnson, but when I returned the call and started questioning them, she said they didn't have anyone by that name there.  Yet, she left me a message to call that number.  They really don't take it well when you call them out on their scam.

BTW, please report them to the authorities.  I reported it today to the FTC.  The only way they will ever catch these scam artist is if we continue to report the calls

I am receiving harassing phone calls from this number. I believe this is a scam! I am on disability and don't need this stress right now. They are threatening having served with a summons for fraud. I don't know who they are.

They are fake debt collectors trying to scam you out of money you don't owe.  I have already reported them to the FTC.  Please report them to the FTC as well, and you can call your local sherrif too.  They are worthless creatures that are taking up good air for those of us that actually do honest work for a living.

I received a message on answering machine telling me to call 855-411-9775 right away to resolve the matter or I will be served within an hour for criminal activity related to this matter. Didn't realize one could resolve a criminal case against them by paying money. Isn't that in itself illegal? There is information on the recording that indicates it is a scam. Like the noise in the background and the fact it sounds like the lady is reading from a script. She stumbled a couple of times too. So I will patiently wait for the person to serve me as I believe this to be a scam.

Just got the same thing as everyone listed above me, Natasha Hammond Private Investigator for the State, says she has a Summons for me to appear in Court for Fraud and that she is giving me 1 hour to contact the Legal Department at 855-411-9775, and gave me a reference number.  Also said that if I don't respond at all then the authorities will come to my place of work to serve me.

Forgot to mention, that she left the message for me under a name I have not used in over 5 years, but she did call me at work, not sure how she got my number.

John, you're right it is illegal, this is extortion.  It's a common scam used by these criminals to scare you into calling them back and paying them money immediately  There is no such thing as a private investigator for the state.  Sounds alot like the payday loan scammers.  More than likely she is reading from a script, some of the scripts are really good and its hard to find flaws in them.  And no you cant resolve a criminal case by paying money, again this is the way these scammers work.    Report these idiots to the FTC and attorney general's office.  You can also file a report with the FBI at www.ic3.gov

THIS LADY CALLED ME AND SAID THAT THEREA RE CHARGES FILED AGAINST ME AND IF I DONT CALL HER BACK HER AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES WILL BE COMING TO MY RESIDENCE AND OR WORKPLACE. THEN AT THE END OF THE MESSAGE YOU CAN HEAR PEOPLE TALKING TO OTHER PEOPLE LIKE THE SAME WAY AND SHE SAYS "GOOD LUCK TO YOU" RIGHT BEFORE SHE HUNG UP.
