so called warning that a complaint has been lodged against my wife at an address that was 14 years old, as we have not even lived at that State for over two and a half years. I suspect a scammer trying to collect on some trumped up charge.

call message by some machine stating that there was a complaint lodged against my wife and wanting her information and whereabouts. We have not lived at that address for over 14 years and even if it is some debt it would have been in a bankruptcy and discharged.

To Herbert’s response I received same call stating that and that if not handled that they would be contacting County lol

Same thing here. They were looking for me, with a last name that I haven't had for over 5 years at an address that I haven't lived at for almost 10 years in a state that I left 8 years ago.... this has scam written all over it. I told them to go ahead and have their "attorney" file what ever it was they needed to file against me.

Got a call today from some guy named Crawford (his last name, didn't get his first name on the machine), looking for my ex whom I've been divorced from for 18 years. The ex used to live in Abilene, Tx, long before I ever knew him. Anyway, supposedly it's about a complaint filed this morning, or they will file papers with the county. I say they can "go for it", nothing ever comes of those threats anyway.

Received a call looking for someone we don’t even know. Said the same thing as I read above. Complaint filed this morning and would be contacting local authorities

Called my brothe rin law looking for my hudband  & i and saying theres a conplaint against us. How do hese people get the number of your relatives?
