Received call this morning and the following message was left  "Important documentation of an urgent nature has been received at our firm on behalf of (someone's name I don't know).  Previous attempts to deliver documents at the addresses on file have expired.  In order to resolve this matter before further action is required you must contact our office immediately at 1-855-418-3583, again that number is 1-855-418-3583. or you may press 1 now to be contacted with our team."  As they don't give their name and don't know my name or address, this can only be a scam.

Cardinal Services..Stated they were calling on behalf of a third party who they were representing. They called me however they stated they were trying to get in touch with my father to discuss a pending civil matter. Refused to give me further information. I asked if this was related to debt collection and she said she could not provide me with any information.

After receiving an automated voicemail regarding an "urgent matter" I called the number back when a very rude and unprofessional male answered and would not disclose who they were or why they called. He just kept asking if this was "(my name)" over and over even after I said yes. Really strange. Scam, scam, scam. Blocked.

Just received a call...answered it and pressed one...had to verify last 4 of social...stated they were calling from Cardinal.  He was an arrogant black guy on the other line.  Stating that I owe for a payday loan...never have gotten one of those.  He said I have 3 civil cases filed against me but could not give me the name of the original debtor.  Sounds suspicious to me.  I hung up on them.

Well known debt scamming organization.  Take the time to use the following to learn how debt collection is supposed to work, and while there report these crooks as well.
