Just received the call at 3:15pm stating they are from ATT, this is not an automated call and it may be recorded for quality assurance. Asked if I was Amy [Last Name] - I said yes. They said great - this is [their name, I can't remember - woman, sounded young, fluent English] from ATT calling to see how your internet is running. Are you having any issues with speed or connectivity? I reported that I was not home at the time (STUPID! Immediately regretted that statement after the call in the event that the call was fraudulent). I did say that my internet had been running smoothly at last check. She said wonderful and made sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. She gave me the phone number to call back if I did have any issues with my internet.

Called me, heard rustling sounds after I said "hello". No one answer on other end. Hung up.

Call from ATT asking if my new high-speed internet was working OK.  Trouble is, we cancelled our (bundled) service with ATT 3 weeks ago.  I called them back & customer service rep said their records showed we were still an active account.  It took several minutes to straighten them out. One dept. doesn't seem to know what the other is doing.

Got a call from 855-434-8341. Female voice said ATT call, not selling anything and the call would be recorded.   There was background noise like many people talking over each other, like telemarketers. I was asked "May I speak to _____?"  I said "______ is dead."  She immediately hung up.

Have received 2 calls. One asking about internet service. Next day also but no response after lady said hello. Why 2 days Ina row. Blocking number.

I do NOT expect ATT or anyone else (yeah, right!!!) to call me at 8:45 pm, to ask if all was OK.  No message was left on my phone, just this weird number. I will be calling ATT to report this .

They called. I blocked. Bye-bye. I love my new call blocker. Get one. The Dahli Lamma says it is the key to ultimate bliss. I bought one and now I live in Nirvana.

I have had this number on my answering machine before and it said it was from A T&T asking how my internet service was.   Today it called me again and this time I picked up.  A person on the other end made a startled sound, and hung up.

Got this call around 5:30 p.m. on Sat.  I am learning to just hang up...no hello...just hang up.
Only the number showed on caller i.d.  wouldn't have mattered if it had said att.  They can spoof even your own number do if you did not initiate call don't trust it.

called at 3pm woke me up. wanted to run a dsl puter scan..told me he would call back tomorrow,  i said no  i am too sick to rin a scan.   I think it is a scam

Called my Fort Worth LandLine 12:15 p.m. Answered but  nothing from caller.

Getting daily calls from this one - our call blocker hangs up after one ring. I doubt that it is AT&T - they really only care if the bill gets paid. They could care less how our service is.

I just received a call from this number. Caller ID did not identify this was AT&T or specifically anything else.  The person (not a robo call) was heavily accented which sounded from someone being from India. When I answered he said "Hello this is Jarrod..."   For purposes of so many saying this is AT&T calling, at NO time of the short time I let this phone call carry on did Jarrod connect himself with AT&T. I do have AT&T landline and internet, tho I am about to leave AT&T.
I am on their do not call list and AT&T has abided in not calling me. I question this is truly AT&T since the phone call made no referrence to AT&T and most times in past AT&T calls the company is identified at the very beginning of the call. Either way, the call with "Jarrod" did not continue on.

Starting to get another series of messages saying to call this number back about how my high speed internet service is and that they are from AT&T. Hours of business to call back are 9-12 EST and I am several time zones away all but making these limited hours useless. I went through this before and seemed like a scam then and now. AT&T is never worried about the quality of their internet service (which is horrible).

855-434-8341 showed as toll free call.  If it is really AT&T it should show that not a suspicious number. If I do not recognize a number, I do not answer.  AT&T needs to revamp their customer service.

I just received a call from this number saying it is not a sales call and that it is being recorded. I couldn't hardly understand the man. He was asking about my DSL service,  then something else I couldn't understand. I said have someone who speaks better English call me back.
He said Sorry and hung up.

Hangup call

This number was saved in my cellphone as AT&T Customer Service from a call in Oct. The person I spoke with informed me that as a long-time AT&T user with a good history & several phones they were going to send me a $100 Visa gift card. He just needed to verify my mailing address & if I wanted it in my name. After verification, he then asked me how I wanted to pay for the $2.95 shipping, I would be given a confirmation number, then I would be transferred to the department that could answer my questions. I should have been wiser @ that moment. I gave him my debit card number. I was then connected to a pre-recorded spiel for 3 more "subscriptions with trial offers that would only be charged after the trial period if I didn't cancel" & I would receive a $25 Walmart gift card for just trying them. It instructed you to say OK if you agreed, but I said NO, not interested. It immediately switched me back to the person who said "You're under no obligation to keep the service but the $25 is yours to keep. OK?" I replied, "Just give me the confirmation number & transfer me". He gave me a number & asked if it was OK to transfer me now. I said yes it's OK. I immediately got another pre-recorded spiel & I hung up. Within about 5 minutes, my bank fraud department contacted me about 3 charges to my account & froze my debit card & sent me a dispute form. None of them were for $2.95. I hope no one else will be this foolish!
