Just continues to call me, asks for someone who I don’t know, I tell them they have the wrong number and they ask me how long I’ve had this number and who my provider is, I tell them it’s non of their business who my provider is but I’ve had this number for 3 years now. Then they tell me I’m legally responsible for this debt because I’m listed on this other persons account, first they never asked my name and I never gave it to them, they couldn’t answer me when I asked how my appeared on the account and lastly when I asked them to confirm the spelling of my last name she hung up. Next day was the same thing lol.

Repeated calls from them, Stating Credit Bureau of Canada Collections, with a ref number and I don’t actually have any unpaid bills.

These mofos called my work with an automated message and reference number...ended up costing me my job.

This number calls every day saying they are the Credit Bureau of Canada. When I answer, it's an automated message with my name and a reference number and instructions to call back and leave my name and reference number. I suspect scam/fraud. I have tried calling back and I can't even speak to anyone...just goes to voicemail and asks to leave name and reference number.

I received a letter from Credit Bureau of Canada Collections, 1450 Meyerside Dr. 7th Floor, Mississauga ON L5T 2N5. 1-855-438-8525, FAX: (905) 670.7069
It said I owed $268.75 to a company called "Precise Parklink Inc".
The notice reads as:
We are authorized agents working on behalf of the company listed above. Your account has been placed with our office for collection. Payment is required within ten (10) days.
Payment in the form of Cash, Certified Cheque or Money Order can be made at our office today. You may forward your Certified Cheque or Money Order to our office address mentioned above.
This account can also be paid at any branch of the Bank of Montreal by presenting the lower portion of this letter. You must also include your DEBT #, located at the top of this letter in bold print.
If you are unable to pay this account within ten (10) days, you must contact our office immediately.
To pay online visit www.payforparking.ca. You will be required to enter the Account # listed above, and your license plate number.

Here's the thing... I don't have a car. I immediately suspected a scam, but the notice looked legit. I decided to call the 1-855-438-8525 number anyway. It was answered by a female who sounded like she was Eastern European. I gave her the DEBT # and she asked me for my name and address. I told her she should already have it since it was clearly printed on the letter. She told me that since I would not give her that info, there was nothing she could do for me, so I hung up.
After I hung up I looked at my phone and it identified the 1-855-438-8525 as a Suspected Spam number.
I believe this letter is a scam although it looks legit. The word 'authorized' is spelt incorrectly and the content of the letter uses a pound sign, '#' instead of the word 'Number'. I'm posting this as a warning to anyone else who may receive this kind of letter. I shredded the letter.

It's a robocall. The first few times I answered there was no one on the line. Sometimes I immediate hang up when it rings and sometimes I answer and hang up. I googled the number and some things say it's legit and and some say it's a scam. I can't get rid of them they won't stop calling. I refuse to answer anymore.
