Said it was Microsoft support

Your computer has altered us it is infected....call us immediately....microsoft support

It is NOT Microsoft calling.  It is a THIEF in India that wants to steal your money.  Never give remote computer access to a cold caller!

This phone number came up on my work computer and I called it.  A suspicious person in India answered and said it was Microsoft support.  I asked him how he could assure me that he in fact works for Microsoft and he couldn't.  I hung up the phone and blocked the number.  This is an obvious scam related phone number.
