I would like to knw who the unknown company was.

I received a call from an unknown number. The caller claimed to be from Oakland County Legal Services, and said they tried sending me a subpoena via mail to appear in court, but the documents were coming back undeliverable. They left a case number and said to contact James Harris at: 855-441-8152.

After doing a little Google research on the number, I couldn't find any legitimate type of business or office information associated that number, so I pretty much assumed it to be some type of phishing/scam

Instead of calling the number above, I called the local county courty clerk and told her about it and gave her the case number. She ran the case number, and advised me that its probably some type of scam, because there was nothing in the system under my name, or the case number given.

I got a call from this number at work 4 times back to back!....trying to tell me that they had "legal documents" for me....but couldnt even tell me the county i live in....said they only have my work number and not my address.....not even 15mins later they called my cell phone, my sisters cell, and my ex mother in law cell phone.....what a crock of sh*t!....i called back when i got home-an no answer!

I did receive the same call and the same day ,June 12, 2015, that other people got them. Tracy, the caller, said she sent a subpoena for me to appear in court and documents went back. I am going to call the local county court and find information about "my case" number. In Google I just found out the phone is in a call center number.

They also call from:  855-657-3810 and I'm pretty sure they are calling from:  855-410-5056

A James Harris appears on 855-657-3810.

CIDs include Johnson and Associates, Johnson, Silver and Associates.

Got a call to my cell phone and my grandmothers house phone leaving messages saying that they tried to serve me legal papers and the papers were rejected. She said it was a matter I would have to appear in court for and I needed to contact  JAMES HARRIS.

She also left a case number.

She was asking if I was working, fishing for information.

I have a hunch this is all a scam from a debt collector or something similar.

There was another "company" who did something very similar to me a while back. They actually had my address and kept saying they were going to serve me papers and never did. I kept calling and asking when I was going to be served and they kept saying in a couple days. I was never served and a couple months later I called them back to follow up and the number was not in service.

Call from Cynthia from 'County Document Services' on our lab line citing that I must contact James Harris at 855.441.8152 within the hour to avoid further action pertaining to Case #CAM163...
Knew it had to be a scam.

I just got a call this morning ... they used my maiden name and an old address and said they tried to serve court documents that kept coming back to them. They said to contact Jim Harris to avoid further action using a case number ending in CR. Now, that's a criminal case and I was like "Oh heck no" and searched for the court case online. Couldn't find a thing. Then entered the number in google search and it brought me this page, and many others with similar content. Thanks for posting, all who came before me, so I can confidently go about my day without fear of getting served a dish of green eggs and SCAM!

I also received a call yesterday morning from a woman, who said someone had tried to serve me on June 16 at my home and wanted to know if I was home at the time. When I questioned the nature of the subpoena,  I too was referred to this number and given a case number.

I called the number and spoke to a Ryan Stewart at Extension 205, who said I owed money for a debt from years ago.  I almost fell for it, as he had all this information about me, which made me question my memory.  So creepy!  Luckily, after speaking to my bank, who said it was probably "scam scum" and suggested I run my credit report for my own peace of mind. Of course, it is a scam.

I called Mr. Stewart back and told him I needed something in writing; he in turn got nasty and hung up on me.

I hope this helps.  I also contacted a local investigative reporter, so they can get the word out, hoping no one gets taken advantage of by these crooks.

Oh, he also said he was in Costa Mesa, CA.

I got a call on 6/19/2015 and they also. called all family members stating my sister had a court and like everyone else posted. Found out that this was a scam. I hope this gets out to alert people.

Thanks for this information. We also received call from 8554418152 James Harris. I had a feeling it was a scam and this info here confirms it.

Fairly certain this CAM refers to Cambridge Asset Management.

It's a phony CID.  Ignore and block the calls.  This "James Harris " persona appears in frequent scams posing as some sort of process server.
