Have gotten several calls from this number for someone else about their Best Buy account.  VERY annoying.

I am constantly getting a call from this number who say they are Citi about a Master Card account at Best Buy. The account holder is someone that I have no knowledge.

I got a bogus call from this number saying they are citibank calling about "my best buy card" ,which I do not have.

This is a phishing scheme claiming to be Citi Best Buy only thing to obtain your personal information. Always call the number on the back of your card and do not provide anyone at this number with your information.

We have been receiving numerous calls from this number, 4-5 per day for about a week. Today I finally picked up the message and called the number, which requested my checking account info, supposedly to pay an unpaid Best Buy balance for a missed payment that we were unaware of. They did have the minimum payment right, so obviously they had access to our Best Buy information.

For the last couple of weeks, I've been getting several calls a day every day, from morning to night, including weekends, from this number.  It's an automated message saying they are from Citibank asking for some unknown person & it's about their Best Buy credit card.  I don't pick up the phone but it is so very annoying every time the phone rings and it is them again.

I got the message also. Asking me to call 855-501-3051 and use a PIN that they provided to me in the voicemail so I could access my message. This is obviously bogus. Just don't accept calls from this number anymore and delete the voicemails from your mailbox. It's a SCAM.

I have gotten several of these supposed "Citibank" calls in the last week.  I don't pick up my phone anymore because of all the nuisance calls we get, nor did I pick up this one.  However, I must say that although suspicious, this one had me wondering about its legitimacy.  They had my son's name, including his middle initial.  He does have a Best Buy account, and they also gave a website address that sounded official, but I'm always suspicious of these types of calls.  He doesn't live with us anymore and I didnt want to bother him with what sounded like a possible solicitation.  Finally, after several of these lengthy calls, I remembered to look up the number here on 800notes.  After seeing the other remarks here, I now definitively know this is a SCAM!  PEOPLE...PLEASE DON'T CALL ANY PHONE NUMBERS or USE ANY SITE LINKS or CODES  OF ANY TYPE given through unsolicited calls, texts, emails, or regular mail!  ALWAYS do a little background work first like calling a legitimate number such as the one on the back of your credit/debit card or your direct bank branch phone number and/or by using sites like this one!

Received this official sounding call today.  They left a message saying we needed to contact them regarding our Citibank My Best Buy card.  Gave us the above number and a "PIN" to retrieve a message.  Thankful for this site!  Nope we didn't return the call.

This call is a call back number for Citibank Best Buy credit cards.  I do not have one I never have I have press two to be removed from their calling list yet they keep calling they nor the no call registry they should be put out of business

I finally called the number back because they had my husband's name. I told them we have never had a Citibank card. They said they would remove his name from call list. We'll see how that goes.

Left lengthy vm for me with my first, middle and last name. Claiming to be Citibank and wanting to talk with me about my Best Buy card (I do have one). Explained they weren’t a sale call and gave me the number 855-501-3051 to call back. I didn’t after seeing the info on this page. The call came from Johnson City, TN and from the phone number 423-467-6190. They also included this toll free number that they can be reached at anytime 888-620-5879. Too many phone numbers for my liking. VM was 2:09 long.

Me too.  I closed my account with Best Buy now they are bugging me.  Annoying and frustrsting.

They have been calling me for the past couple of days regarding my Best Buy acct. I see this has been going on for years. Do they ever stop?

This is a legitimate number for Best Buy Citi Card. My account was past due, they called to notify me. I have paid it, should not get any more calls. Chill out people. I don't answer calls but I investigate my accounts and take care of them as they crop up.

We just received this phone call too, I didn't answer it...I never answer any phone numbers I don't know...but now that everyone is saying it's from best buy, we just bought something from there this week...I'm still not answering. Let them reach us by mail.

This is a scam!! Always check the phone numbers in google they may have some of your information correct but they are trying to obtain more delete the number and voicemails they leave
