- Jessie WatersSo, Reliance Protectron has called me three times over a period of three days telling me that the battery in my business' alarm is low. First off, they asked if my company was the number, for example, 234. But my company number is 240 ( not actually either numbers but just for example). Second off, I am not even with Reliance Protectron: i'm with another company. So what do these people want and what are they trying to do with the information? Please respond ASAP. Thanks!

Stop using the dam phone/computer - SBAn alarm company with an automatic message saying there's a problem with one of our alarm systems. However, they no longer service our systems. When I called back after the robot message, Customer Service could not help me because I couldn't confirm the address of the property with the issue. We're a property management company...and have multiple, multiple properties. So, customer service couldn't help me, when I was the one calling back to help them help me!? The robot just called again, so I quickly hit zero...it rang, someone picked up and immediately disconnected.

- Y ChanIts Reliant Protectron calling because my house alarm battery was running low. My house alarm also gives out a beep beep beep alarm. Replacing the battery is very easy (no need to get a electrician to do it). But the battery is not a standard size, say, AA or DD but custom made, about 2 x 3 x 4 inches. I have difficulty finding the type of battery from Home Depot or Canadian Tire. Guess I will have to order one from them (at about $30 plus HST). Anyway, the original battery lasts almost like ten years, not bad, from a consumer point of view.

- JimJust received a call from this number, and I can verify it was Reliance Protectron. In my case it was a power interruption notification regarding my workplace.
So, legit company. But having an out of date contact number in their files certainly is possible for those who have no connection to the company at all. My suugestion would be to take a minute and let them know that the number isn't a good contact number anymore- Caller: Reliance Protectron
- Tiguaq replies to Jay| 1 replyThere is an app you can get to block unwanted calls. Its called cm security.
- BigA replies to TiguaqFirst "Jay" posted here in 2012, 4 years ago so your advice is a tad bit late. Second there are a lot of apps out there that will block calls. The one you mention seems to be more of an antivirus app. By the way, spam ads are not allowed here.
