Received a letter from this company (Monumental Life Ins. Co.) about accidental death & dismemberment insurance in reference to a plan through NYMEO Federal Credit Union.  They were letting me know they will now be my new carrier.  I was never a member of this NYMEO creidt union in the first place for them to say they will now be my new carrier.  Seem to think this is a fraud and would like to know if anyone else has received any calls or letters from this company.

I received a similar letter also from Monumental. Again, about AD&D insurance, and through a Credit Union. While I once had an account there, it has been at least a decade since the account was closed. I took it as someone sending out mass form letter frm whatever contact info they were able to buy, even if it was very old. The form I received had an option for buying more insurance, but was worded in a way that someone may think they were merely signing on for the free insurance.
