I keep getting calls from this number.  Sometimes it's a live person and sometimes a computer.  They say the name of their company is Invalon.  They say they are calling on behalf of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and want to be sure we are taking full advantage of our health care benefits.  They have been calling 3 times a day asking for my daughter saying they want to follow up with a letter that was sent to her reminding her to stay up to dates with her regular doctors visits.  They then asked for her birth date to be sure they would give me the right information to what the call was for.  When I asked them to put us on the do not call list, I am still getting calls. I have called Anthem Blue Cross, my heath care provider, twice already and they really have no answers for this but have been getting calls from other members saying the same. Now I am freaked out that I gave them my daughter date of birth to confirm why they were calling!  Today when I called I finally got a supervisor at Anthem and they did verify that Invalon is a outside vendor they hire to make the calls.  That's great news.  But then I asked "when did I give the ok for Anthem to give out my personal information about my family to a outside vendor."  He could not answer this and promised to get back to me on this issue.

I got a call from a machine it said they are INOVALON.  they asked for my date of birth to make sure it's me. I said: I am not sure who you are, so can i call you?  they gave me this number to call: 855-530-5792
I tried to understand what is the call for? He just said they are working for anthem and try to make sure my relationship with my doctor are ok. I asked what is the service you are trying to give me ? but he could not answer this question clearly. So i never called.
It might be that they are not fake, but they might be. Why don't they send a letter?
And , what if the number he gave me is the same spam scam company? They can still say it's Inovalon why they are not!!! who knows?
Anyway, I asked him to take me of the list. PUt me on the No Call list.
These calls might be a scam and they also disturbing.

Same two numbers, both the Caller ID and the call-back number. Caller ID said Anthem.

The very bored female voice was almost impossible to interstand, but I made out "something important to tell you." She gave me the call-back number, the hours to call, and her first name. It sounded so unprofessional that I immediately went on a hunt for more information.

I also got a call saying it wasAnthem Blue Cross and they knew my first and last name and had me call 855-530-5792

I just got a robot voicemail saying they were calling from Anthem with important information for me and to call 8555305792. Will definitely not be calling that number back. If it was legit, they would have me call the Anthem number from their website or my insurance card.

Same situation. They would have mailed a letter or emailed too. Definitely a scam smh

Automated call to home line, saying they were from Anthem/Blue Cross about doctor appointment.  Identified my partner by name who has had a number of doctor appointments recently and upcoming for a health issue.  Said press 1 to talk to him, press 2 to take a message for him. I pressed 2, auto message said "partner name" to contact 855-530-5792. Googled, found this and Anthem blog suggesting likely spoof. Did not ask for DOB--probably would if partner were to call.  Caller ID said Inovalon 415-366-5700.  Googled this also--unclear whether scam or Anthem contracted telemarketer.

I also have two VM from this number. They have my full first and last name (correct) and claim to be from Anthem Blue Cross. But when I actually try to call Anthem Blue Cross from the number on the back of my insurance card, I am unable to get through to anyone at all. I won't be calling them back at this number (855-530-5792).

Receive this call to respond at 855-830-5792. It's a spam call I've received several times. Voice is too robotic.

They called on behalf of Anthem Blue Cross to remind me to schedule a check up with my primary care physician. They said it was a wellness check.

Inovalon works with Anthem, per Anthem's website:
"Consistent with 2019, we have again engaged a vendor, Inovalon – an independent company that provides secure, clinical documentation services – to help us comply with the provisions of the Affordable Care Act that require us to assess members’ relative health risk levels."

They called and left a voicemail telling me they needed me to call them and they were from anthem. So I called the number they gave and it was a woman with a heavy Latino accent that I could barely understand. Something about my primary care provider. She asked for my phone number which I gave her (kicking myself for that..🤬). And then she asked for my date of birth. That was huge red flag. I said nope and hung up.

This is a spoof. They will try to pull your personal information. When I confronted them about it they hung up on me.

They left an automated message using my full name and claimed they were from Anthem Blue Cross. Glad I checked here to see what was happening. How are they getting our personal information? I will not return the call. Thank you all for posting.

THIS IS SPAM. I received a call and at first I gave my information. My name date of birth and phone number. Then they asked for my email for preferred ways to receieve information. When I ask about a certain question about my service they said they would transfer me to the other department. I waited and nothing. I called back after reading all these posts and I asked them how do I know you and my insurance are connected. where services do you provide. She didn't know what to say. DREA AND JOANNA please get a real job. I called anthem blue cross and they said this is not one of their vendors. IGNORE THIS NUMBER.

I googled the phone number that leaves a voicemail to call the (855) number, and guess what? It is coming from a prison community.  On the vm, they identify me by name and last name, however, they are using my nickname as my first name which I never use on doctor or insurance forms. Strange.  I blocked the number and of course, will not be calling them back at the (855)...

Just received a message from 855-530-5792 on my home answering machine. Woman with southern accent stated she worked for Invalon and was calling on behalf of Anthem Blue Cross for some sort of check up. Red Flag: I’ve never received a call from Anthem for this sort of thing in the past. Thanks everyone for your reporting your experiences!

NOTE: OneTouchPoint, InC (“OTP”) a vendor of Anthem Blue Cross DID suffer a security breach on April 27, 2022 exposing some members names, addresses, healthcare ID number, plan number, and benefit package ID, but not SS numbers or financial data.  I received this info via letter from OPS.

Left a voicemail stating they are with Anthem and gave my daughter's name and they had "important information". Asked to call them back Mon-Fri 8a-8p at 855-530-5792. I am NOT calling them back posting here to warn others.

I am a healthcare provider, got a call from 1-415-366-5700 on my voicemail to call 1 855 530 5792 back about a patient I've seen more than 1 year ago.
