Telemarketer.  Sounds like a scam.  Person calling from overseas with Indian-like accent said she was calling from Global something or other about a magazine account.

Received 2 phone calls today from this number, one most recently at 3:00 PM. They were trying to ask for a new credit card number despite me telling them to cancel any subscriptions I might have had under an old card number. I said no way and hung up.

Yes, they have been calling me from 8555614496 for a magazine subscription asking for my card..which I will never give :)

Foreign accent female called stating she was from some Global Magazine firm and I asked her what magazine was I supposed to be receiving of course she couldn't tell me that. I told her to take my name off whatever list she had and when I asked for her name she hung up.

A lady with an accent called and said my magazine subscription was up and wanted to know if I wanted to renew or cancel. I told her to cancel and she said she needed my credit card number in order to cancel and wanted to verify my address. I told her that I didn't subscriber to any magazines and she hung up on me.

Has called several times on my cell phone but never leaves a message.  This time when I answered they stated I was passed due on a magazine subscription payment and threatened me with collection process if I didn't pay right now with a credit card.  When I asked his name and name of collection agency, he hung up on me.

Received several calls from this number and others, don't ever say anything positive to them, hang up! Theay are scammers under investigation for scams involving fake "magazine" ssubscriptions, credit card fraud, etc. The last time they called I asked how it felt to be under investigation by the FTC, then I hung up!

They keep calling me, I don't answer
