Left a message on my cell phone for my daughter-in-law. He said he was scheduled to deliver papers about an up coming court appearance unless she called this phone number with a reference number he left. He said unless he heard from the claimant he would be at her residence for her to sign off on the papers. He did not name the claimant. At the end of the call he said my daughter-in-law had been notified.

Real process servers do NOT call first.  Your daughter has been notified of NOTHING!!  Voicemails, emails, texts & faxes are not considered official notification.  Giving information (daughter) to a third party (you) is also illegal.

The official notification is a written document that is mailed to you.  Otherwise - nothing!!
