Got a call telling me someone would be serving a summons.  Gave this number to call to let them know if the scheduled time was okay, but the message never gave a day or time.  Call showed unknown, but this was the number I was told to call.  Obviously not legit.

Recently, I have received 2 SCAM calls with "threats of some (mystery) "litigation".  The scam-caller, "Shawn Phillips" said he was "Bonded" and gave me this  #02154004. "Shawn Phillips" said he worked with "NAPPS" - "National Assoc. of Professional Processors" which is NOT TRUE.  I called NAPPS and was informed that  A PROFESSIONAL PROCESS SERVER WOULD ONLY SERVE SOMEONE  "IN PERSON"  NEVER VIA A PHONE CALL.   A Professional Processor would provide you with a legitimate P.I. License or P.S. License (depending on your state's requirements). This scam-caller gave some  "Temporary Reference no./Claim no." - but he would not tell me what the "Reference/Claim" number was referencing!  This scam-caller would not provide his STREET address.  This scam-caller told me to call "MR JAMES" at the "SHERMAN LEGAL PROFESSIONAL CTR." at 855-561-6291 - ANOTHER BOGUS CALL.  When I called that number, a "Mr. James" answered and refused to give me any information unless I answered HIS questions first.  I politely refused to provide "Mr. James" with any of my private info until he answered my questions first.  "Mr James" immediately YELLED a threat at me and slammed down the phone!  THESE CALLS ARE A SCAM.  THESE PEOPLE THREATEN YOU WITH BOGUS  "LITIGATION" - THEY ARE ONLY SEEKING YOUR PERSONAL INFO AND MONEY.  DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!  HANG UP ON THEM!!   I called my Police Dept. and reported the phone no., 855 561-6291.

Same thing here! I've been married for 3 years, and they called my mom asking by my maiden name. They also gave me the address at a place I haven't lived in 8 years! Then threatened that they were tracking my cell phone to find me! They told me they knew I was in a certain place... guess what, I'm about 5 states away from there! lol

Called me and asked for me with my maiden name.  I have been married twice and changed my name twice within the past 10 years.  I hung up on him and he called me back and left a voicemail.  Sounds pretty weird but scary!  Has anything ever happened with these?  They gave me a "case" number too.

These people called me last month and again today. The first time they called they tried to get me to verify my name... They only have my maiden name from over 8 years ago! They tried to get me to verify my city... A place I haven't live in for many years. I didn't give them any info. They called a family member trying to get info. Luckily they were smart enough not to. Two weeks later my bank card number was stolen and someone went on a spending spree. Coincidence?

Today they called and left a voicemail saying they had a court summons for me and to consider myself notified. I've checked my credit report and have alerts set up. I owe no one any money. I have no current or old loans. This is a SCAM! I would not be surprised if they some how pull another identity theft on me. I'm watching though... I have my eye on you "process service dispatch."

sounds like a scam forsure or shady collections, but why would they call and fish for info on you if your bank information was compromised, probably unrelated.

It's all very fishy. It was just a weird coincidence that I'm getting these odd phone calls and had my bank info stolen. At any rate I've report this phone number and all info they gave me to the authorities.

it is, im just saying it doesn't make sense they'd TRY and get your info if they were the ones that already had your information, Like trying to steal your purse, if they already have your bank info. Make sense?

I received a call from them on Friday, from unknown, said she was wondering if I got the paperwork they tried to serve me at an address I haven't lived in for 2 years!! As we all know, they don't call or "leave" the papers at your address, I called the # she gave me, 855-561-6291. The guy was refusing to answer my questions . I told him I wasn't telling him anything until he told me what it was about. He got rude & condescending, saying now listen because I am only going to say this once, understand. All RUDE, I hung up on him.

Same as what I'm hearing. Claiming to be "NAPPS" Threatening to have me served at work by the cops. Calling my husband and my ex husband. Saying I have possibly missed court dates. That the documents are IRS related. How do these people sleep at night. So tired of these calls. I know it's a scam. If I dont know the number I never answer the call.
