These people claim to be part of APPLE support...they use the web site www.logmein123.com...just to give all notice...watch out for them

I just let them into my computer...I hope they didn't steal anything!

This number recently came back to life.  They claim someone at my number ordered a payday loan and want a few grand to settle. SCAM. Do not call back or answer.

People at this number keep calling my sister saying they are attempting to locate my daughter!  They have done this to her several times.  They say they are investigators but do not say where they are from or who they are investigating for!  If they were ligit, she is not hiding and all her creditors have her information.  The call is a recording, not a live person.  It's a scam!

received call concerning charges against my daughter.  Asked if they had any problem with our local county sheriff listening in on the phone call as the call back would be placed from his office.  They had no reply----just hung up.  Guess they won't be filing charges after all.   Might be a good idea if everyone started calling them back, giving them the case file # they left and then when they find out you are not the person concerning the case file they can't talk with you.  Call them once an hour and do this and tie their phone lines and personnel up many hours out of the day and see how they like that.  

I just receive a phone call from this number saying this is investigations and do you know the were abouts of certain people....

I have been getting automated calls for an Oletta ____ (the computer can't pronounce the last name, so I have no clue what it's trying to say).  Today it was from this number, which showed up on my phone as "unknown".  Said "If you do NOT know this person, press 2, which I did, then it transferred me to a human who answered, "Investigations."  I said, "Investigations for who?" Lady said, "What is your case number." I replied, "What is the name of this company." then ::CLICK::, she hung up.

I called back, and a human answered every time by saying, "Investigations." 3 times I asked the name of the company, they IMMEDIATELY hung up.  The next time I called, I told them that I would only give my case number to their supervisor, and again, they hung up.

Sounds like it might be some debt collector or collections company.

I keep getting threatening calls from this number claiming its URG company,they have also harrassed my daughter at her phone number leaving me threatenig msgs plz help

It's a scam. These people have been calling me and everyone else as well. DON'T GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR IGNORE THE CALL.

I they keep asking for someone I don't know, what is up with this, need a way to stop all of this nonsense.

Recorded message: "This a people search - looking for Gloria Aldoretti.  If this is not the right party, press 2".  I pressed 2 and it said  ; "thank you for connecting with us..."  I hung up before anyone picked up.  Some kind of scam - blocked the number.

It's basically what happened to me, they are trying to locate someone....I could not understand either the first or last name even after they repeated it.  And if you do NOT know this person, please press 2.   I didn't punch through.  They called on my cell phone.  I wish donotcall.gov could stop this, but I guess there is nothing they can do about the spoofed numbers.

keep calling about a cash pay day loan that is paid in full.. once I asked to get a number to send it to them they still will not give me the number. they has started to harass my sister as well. Block the number 855-584-6184

This person used a cell phone number to call then gave me this 855-584-6184 claiming that they are a lawfirm. These people need to stop harassing folks!

They continue calling so I let them know I looked on the internet about their number and how it's a scam. Then she hung up

It's actually spelled "Ondrick Miles.."  I made "Investigator Carter" (the woman I spoke with) spell it.  It took her three times because she kept interrupting to say I would go to jail if I didn't pay.  I kept saying, "I understand, sure, but I just want to have the name of the person who you say I breached contract with."

She finally spelled it, but she had to put me on hold to "check something" before she did.  Scammity scam scam!

I hope that all consumers reading this thread understand that debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter.  You can't be arrested or go to jail for not paying a debt (you can be sued, but that is another story).  So these callers are either engaged in outright fraud at worst, and serious and repetitive violations of the FDCPA at best.

I am anxious to know if any of you have been given an address or refereed to a website by these callers?  If so and anyone would be kind enough to post up that information I would be appreciative and also I would be glad to look into it personally.  Thanks
