- Sue| 2 repliesThis is the phone number on a green postcard from "Center for Back Pain". Other phone numbers are also used. It's very vague and looks suspicious. Why would I, a 30-year-old, be eligible for a "Medicare approved back/knee support system"???!!! I smell a scam.
- Elise| 2 repliesI received a green postcard from "The Center of Back Pain" Saying "Our office is trying to reach you in regarding Your Eligibility for A Medicare and Insurance Covered Back or Knee Support System." The phone to contact them back is 1-855-598-3935. I have never contacted anyone at The Center for Back Pain, or eligible for Medicare yet. This looks suspicious, and smells like a scam to me. Beware!
- Through the shredder replies to ElisePossible medical insurance (borderline) scam. You'll find that your insurance will be well *dinged* for this item. Next will come the 'alternative' pain treatment. Little jars of cream at $20,000.00 (Featured on CBS News)
- DamLittle Green card from the scam of the office of the center for back pain..Our office is trying to reach you regarding you eligbility for a medicare and insurance covered back or knee support system Went to the sherrding machine<...
- Caller: No Call just a little green card
- LeeMy mom just got the same little green post card. She is eligible for Medicare and has back pain. But we know better than to get involved in something like this.
- Caller: The Center for Back Pain
- Ms. Shred EverythingSame green postcard received. If my shredder shredded in circles, think of all the pretty confetti we would have! Don't even give this rubbish another thought, shred it and hope the thousands of others who have received the card, and the thousands more who will, do not fall for the scam. You need a lot less staff to answer the calls they will receive, than if you were hired to make outgoing calls. Postcards are a less expensive option, and they "appear" legitimate.
- Caller: The (supposed) Center for Back Pain
- kent scheerI received a bogus green card about a claim from "The Center for Back Pain" and I detest this sort of scam . I'm anxious to report this to my state attorneys general office and the USPS...therefore would like more information on the address, email address, parties associated , etc...from anyone

- Caller: the center for back pain
- MichelleI, too, received this card. I have never been to a Center for Back Pain. Also am not old enough for Medicare. My fear is someone is trying to file a claim in my name. Don't know if that is possible. Was delivered to my office instead of home address. Hope it is just a scam and not an attempted identity theft.
- Nell ChaneyRecieved a green card and a phone call from this number. Did not respond...looks suspicious.

- TheMadManReceived a car from the center for back pain (little green card) and wondered because I recently had back surgery but suspicious when I know the doctors office has my number. Why would the doctors office recommend this when they haven't notified me? Typed the number in and this is what came up, others that have had this happen to them. Glad I looked into this before I called.
- SusanJust rec'd same green postcard for back brace ... googled: similar scams hit the mid-west back in 2014.
So do not hesitate to just shred it. MADISON WI URL: http://www.channel3000.com/news/29532966 - romeo whisky charlyMedicare does NOT cover the items mentioned nor does Medicare. This is a PHISHING scam to steal your identity, probably sent by Life Lock since I got an ad from those morons at the same time.

- Lance WI got a green card in the mail with the number 1-855-598-3935 saying.Urgent:read immediately. It was for a back or knee brace and is pending. As a retired investigator I wasn't going to call the number this is a scam and isn't the medicare office. They want your information to use for profit or identity theft.Don't fall for this scam.Medicare contact's you with a envolope clearly marked with medicare on it.They don't use post cards.I spoke to medicare a month ago about a brace I got that didn't fit and was sending it back to the company.I told medicare not to pay the company and that I'll get a brace from a local medical supplier.I got the card 34 day's later.I myself feel this card came a third party list and the company I sent the brace back to sold my address to a third party buyer.Don't respond to the card it's really a scam.I'm just WARNING you.
