Threatening me and call friends and family and being nasty to those people.

wanting me to pay for an account that is over 10 years old. gave some account that resembled a court case. caller identified herself from a lawyers office

Got call to call this number, I talked to man saying that there is a civil suit against me for a $500 dollar loan from 5 years privious. That someone would come to my house serving me with paperwork for the suit. They even quoted my first 5 numbers of my socail security number, knew my address, and used my nickname and correct last name. Makes me very nervous for what might lie ahead.

They also gave me a Civil Lawsuit case number... From some legal office supposedly.. I am only worried because they never asked for money, so Im worried that somehow they got what they wanted from me..

Complete phone scam - they have harassed me for months calling on and off saying that they have legal paperwork and would have a warrant for my arrest if I didn't pay money within 24 hours - but could not give me the name of a creditor or any information about who they are. 1) you don't go to jail just for for owing a company money  2) you have to be served with papers and have a court hearing if it were a civil case and your local sheriffs office would do that and I am very easy to find if someone was attempting to "serve papers" and 3) I do not have anything and have never had anything I did not pay. I was worried that someone may have gotten a loan in my name at first but then they couldn't provide any information as to who I owe and told me that they would have a warrant for me -- and this was months ago. Now the calls are starting again and they called my ex husband of whom I've been divorced from for 8 years. Anyone that is legit would provide the creditor and have detailed information. Do not allow these people to threaten you! Complete scam.

They called and can't give me information about the creditor... said they will a warrrent for my arrest..and now they are calling my family and harassing them...

Similar to above.  Had a case number and said we would be getting court documents.  Identified themselves as Mediations.  I told them that the name sounds generic and tried to get more information about their company.  The lady said she was Lori and was very rude.  Called the better business bureau and they no nothing of this company.  This looks like phishing.
