Got text from 855 648 4250 asking whom to contact in your company to open more locations. Mine is small business. Usually this type of business dealings do not start with random text. Clicked spam and deleted message

REceived a text asking if I was interested in a franchise opportunity. Any legitimate offer would be received through mail. Scammer.

Just received a text saying his name is John Romney and is interested in franchising my business and I should click on the scheduling link for a meeting. I texted him back saying I’m reverse checking his number.  Did not click on the link. I then saw these experiences and blocked his number.

Just received a text to my small business in reference to franchisees. Blocked.

Yep ... scammer extraordinaire.   All the notes you read here by others are true.

Randomly got a text asking to speak to the owner of my food truck and then saying it was for a franchise opportunity. I hate these things!

This person says his name is John Romney.  Same story, different name.

I got a exactly the same text but now his name is Lee Majidemehr
I blocked it

To write a kind message would be difficult: “Do not call” services are useless. I think our only recourse is to involve the FBI. I make life threats against these scammers in writing. I don’t even have a business

I just got the exact same text. So annoying. I'm not going to reply Stop. I'm going to block. The small business I'm involved with isn't franchisable, and we're definitely not interested in being scammed.
